@Nimac91 dude, iphone 4s runs 60 fps on speed reading, and 54fps on fish tank. Mango does not come any close, 800 score only 35 fps on speed reading. Titan 2 has a 16 MP camera shoots 720P and the quality is horrible. Lumia 800's camera play a bit sometime. iPhone may not be cheap, but it really keeps value, my friend just bought Lumia 800 for less than 2 weeks, and the 900 is out. All of the sudden, no one want that 800, PenTile screen, no front facing camera, 900 may have a super amoled...
@shdxc Are you blind? it's 50 frames per second in this video, how can WP7 ever be 35 fps while we're 6 months further. If the "GREAT and MIGHTY" iPhone 4S get's a silly 60 fps and my Titan get's 74 fps, that really tells me there's something wrong... Apple can't keep up anymore, their next device will be in September or later... WP7 will have duel core! Then what? You don't want to fall behind, even as an Apple fan.

I'm glad I bought an iPhone 4S instead of a Windows Phone 7, not because WP7 is bad but because there's barely any apps on the app store. WP7 and iOS are the best mobile OS's. Android is just an ugly mess full of lag.

I much prefer native apps to web apps. So the fact that hardware acceleration is not emphasized in the iOS browser is not a big deal for me nor would it be for most people, but it's great to see Microsoft pushing the envelope.
what a non-sense phone..it has no flash video, no custom ringtones, no sync with outlook, can't save a pdf and email it. Can't create folders to put your files in. Awful sound quality, awful video and camera. Short battery life. Never gonna but a windows phone 7 again!!

But showing of a copyable feature before releasing it is plain dumb. Apple already had a better keyboard. If you didn't know, the ios keyboard can adjust the sizes while invisible to fit their alphabet prediction.

@2silvertv well it is, I for myself owned one (and I'm a flashmaniac and overclocker so my desire got tweaked to the fullest but lets face it, lag is a subjective cognition so as long as you dont compare it to others you cant actually make a scientific statement. But I used both an iPod Touch and WP7 (well HD2 with wp7 on it :S ) and I can assure you WP7 and iOS were way ahead in terms of smoothness, the first Android with an equal browser is the Galaxy S2 which uses GPU Acc. as well!
@TooLOL4you I agree with you when it comes to Android's user experience. It surprises me that Google didn't implement hardware acceleration before Android 3.0. I have both Android and iOS and I realy like the user experience of iOS and the number of high quality apps, but for my use, it still just has too many limits. WP is very nice too and I love the navigation in the UI, but I don't like th looks of the UI. most of it just looks a bit boring with the clean colors. That's just my opinion.

@eldaguinio Listen, I'm an Android geek. I love my Droid, but seriously...these are not huge deals. Windows Phone 7 looks good for a new phone OS and I'm looking forward to what's coming with the new release of 7.5 (Mango). Will I switch over from my Droid? Probably not, but it's good to have competition and when a company does good work I think it deserves to be recognized. Microsoft really did a lot of cool stuff with WP7 whether you like it or not.

I was once MS's biggest supporter, but after being forced by tmobile to take WP7 all that changed. My last phone was winmo 6.5, it was awesome. The fact that this phone needs 500 fixes should tell you something - it wasn't ready for market. research my claims, I can't lie. No support for bluetooth audio for headsets, no support for emailing pdfs, no custom ringtones. And Zune is as useless to me as females were to michael jackson. My bill remains high, my phones features have dropped by 60%.

I have an HD7 (no Mango), the one that never should have gone to market. It's still the same ugly phone that I'm using now. Will Mango address the issues of poor quality camera? Will I be able to save a pdf on my phone and send it when I need too? How about the issue of "no custom ringtones"? Will I be able to create my own folders and store whatever the hell I want to in them?? It's my phone after all. Flash video? what a non-sense phone..it has no flash video, no custom ringtones, no sync with outlook, can't save a pdf and email it. Can't create folders to put your files in. Awful sound quality, awful video and camera. Short battery life. Never gonna but a windows phone 7 again!!

@plonkies Firstly, you don't show off features that can be copied easily. Like hardware acceleration in browsing. Whereas the new features in ios5 cannot be carried over to wp7 simply. But showing of a copyable feature before releasing it is plain dumb. Apple already had a better keyboard. If you didn't know, the ios keyboard can adjust the sizes while invisible to fit their alphabet prediction.

@2silvertv well it is, I for myself owned one (and I'm a flashmaniac and overclocker so my desire got tweaked to the fullest but lets face it, lag is a subjective cognition so as long as you dont compare it to others you cant actually make a scientific statement. But I used both an iPod Touch and WP7 (well HD2 with wp7 on it :S ) and I can assure you WP7 and iOS were way ahead in terms of smoothness, the first Android with an equal browser is the Galaxy S2 which uses GPU Acc. as well!

@TooLOL4you I agree with you when it comes to Android's user experience. It surprises me that Google didn't implement hardware acceleration before Android 3.0. I have both Android and iOS and I realy like the user experience of iOS and the number of high quality apps, but for my use, it still just has too many limits. WP is very nice too and I love the navigation in the UI, but I don't like th looks of the UI. most of it just looks a bit boring with the clean colors. That's just my opinion.

@eldaguinio Listen, I'm an Android geek. I love my Droid, but seriously...these are not huge deals. Windows Phone 7 looks good for a new phone OS and I'm looking forward to what's coming with the new release of 7.5 (Mango). Will I switch over from my Droid? Probably not, but it's good to have competition and when a company does good work I think it deserves to be recognized. Microsoft really did a lot of cool stuff with WP7 whether you like it or not.

So it's completely fair to compare iOS 5 beta to WP7.5 beta.
Also the browser in Mango is a completely different one as in the current WP7, while the browser in iOS 5 has been in development for as long as the iPhone exists.

I was once MS's biggest supporter, but after being forced by tmobile to take WP7 all that changed. My last phone was winmo 6.5, it was awesome. The fact that this phone needs 500 fixes should tell you something - it wasn't ready for market. research my claims, I can't lie. No support for bluetooth audio for headsets, no support for emailing pdfs, no custom ringtones. And Zune is as useless to me as females were to michael jackson. My bill remains high, my phones features have dropped by 60%.

I have an HD7 (no Mango), the one that never should have gone to market. It's still the same ugly phone that I'm using now. Will Mango address the issues of poor quality camera? Will I be able to save a pdf on my phone and send it when I need too? How about the issue of "no custom ringtones"? Will I be able to create my own folders and store whatever the hell I want to in them?? It's my phone after all. Flash video? Great phone if I were just starting to grow boobies and had a crush Beiber.

I gotta say, I used to be like the rest of the iSheep, and Droid nerds(kind of still am a Droid nerd) but WP7 has really taken off, and the fact that most of my friends have made the switch from their iPhone 4s to the new WP7 after I let them play around with my phone, really gives me a vote of confidencen. We might be late to the party, but we're coming out full swing. Remember you always save the best for last!! Sorry apple your days are numbered :(
