this review is out dated, could you guys do an updated one on the v2? I actually own a v2 and none of these problems are present in it. Using .43g BBs on green gas I am getting consistent long range hits no problem. The only thing I need to do is lock tight down my bipod screw as it slowly works it self loose.

i bought the overworked second version of the DSR-1 and it works wery well. also you can buy a weaker and a stronger spring. no more gas leaking during bolt action and 100% with 8 shots (not only 4) on 40m weight an dimensions are the same.

and who the fuck test a sniper rifle with 0.2g BB nobody ply with 0.2g in a sniper?! i play with 0.3g or 0.36g BB and Begadi Power Gas and its wonderful to snipe, i think it's a very good sniper.

Of course the DSR1 you get when you buyed it, it's alittle bit "weak." but a friend of mine got this weapon too, and he tuned it with simple and cheap modding!

First of all you have to buy AW 338 High Flow Ventiles for the DSR Gas Mags. Then you need a better fether for the bolt, maybe a good innerbarrel for more accuracy. With the high flow ventiles, new fether and yellow gas (now it's power gas) you will get a energy of 3,5 to 4J in summer! with co² mags you'll get over 6J!

yea it does it took about 40 shots until i needed to fill up the gas mag again i have the rifle and its really good i was using .43 but i think im going to go for .30 because i have to put the hop up way up for the .43

i have this gun, and let me tell you sniping is something your not goin 2 be keep doin, you will lose intrest in this gun like i did, after i bought it and used it for 2 weeks i got bored, and in the games i was in i only got about 5-10 kills, LAME, so then i changed back to my m4 and got 30-50 kills, NICE, this gun is very SEXY but you will not like it later and use something else, trust me on this

It is an unfair review of the Ares DSR-1 and I am sick of people checking out my reviews all saying that they watched yours and it leaks gas, and bits fall off, It does not leak gas, nothing has fallen off, your review does this gun no justice at all.
