@eda5936 You mean the signature ribbon? Yes. But I don't know why you would want to. It would decrease the value of the bag, especially if you go to resell it.
@eda5936 So glad it helped! Not sure what kind of other bags you have had, but I've never heard of a Vera Bradley ribbon getting stuck in the zipper. I've never personally had that problem either.

thanks for replying, all the bags i've had especially the totes, the ribbon at one point in time gets stuck in the zipper itself,
I've been deciding what i was going to spend my gift card on, and i've decided on a vbradley bag thanks to your review :)
