  • Somebody once told me it is called "curfing". You are scoring and bending the unit or plank segment by segment until you have a circle.

  • Use wire cutters. Take 2 pix, glue together side by side, to make a larger unit, that doesn't break that easily. Then take the cutters, starting at one end of the plank, clamp down enough to bite it, but not completely cut into. Then, slowly turn the the cutter with the end of the plank. You may hear it crackel, but if you do it carefully it should not break. Afterward, repeat the process until you have a curve. It may take practice, it gets easy after a while.

  • They are pretty close. The lusitania is a little smaller in scale. I build them big to get more detail into the picture. But no more 25 footers for me!!!
