Fact is The Black Parade WAS quite a shift in their style of music: there was next to no screaming, the dark lyrics were undeniably less...graphic, disturbing, out of place: take your pick, but the point still remains it was quite a change. And after getting used to the old music style, it was a bit difficult to get used to
