It's touching to see Sydney Pollack talking about his work. The way we were is classic romantic movie that grows in stature throughout the years. An unforgettable movie. I just love this film maybe one of the best romanctic movies of all times. Two incredible performances by Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford.The final scene is so touching and so intense in terms of feelings. i understand why many famous actresses would have liked to play the role of Katie Morosky Wonderful movie !

That doesn't surprise me. I've been an admirer of his since Tootsie when he played  Dustin Hoffman's agent, and then I discovered he ALSO directed it! You're lucky to have learned from such a great artist. Thanks for sharing--I have always suspected that he was kind. :D
