ermm well i have been on it twice since the crash, cos i was recovering and then really it was the winter and its icy nd stuff :P and im gonna start goin on it again seeing its clearing up :P

but i do agree with they dont always help cos when i fell or was hit by a car , my head hit the floor and it loosend the helmet on contact therefore it helped a bit but not enough and when it hit impact it was completely destroyed, it had practicly cracked in half and the straps had come off :P

The back of my neck was bent at a focal point at the back of the helmet, instead of all the neck bones bending in a gradual curve. Apparently, the weight of the helmet didn't help much either. All in all, it was a rather unpleasant time spent in the hospital. Granted, you smack your head on a hard object, they may save your life. In my case it didn't help, only made things worse. Then again, I only flip-flopped across a couple front yards like an epileptic gymnast.
