I think this song can actually represent anything about anyone. We all in life only strive to be perfect, to do something that will make us and everyone else proud of our accomplishments. However, we are always going to go through hardships, and sometimes we might never get to our goal. This song helps me realize that even when life seems bleak, there is always another chance. Actually it does. The Earth is actually quite a self-destructive item in terms of pollution and extermination. Whenever the ice ages melt, pollution is released, whenever a MAJOR Earthquake occurs, pollution is released. The entire Caribbean is a sitting methane time bomb. The worst ever was at the end of the cretaceous. At such a time, it was so bad that valleys actually collected poisonous gases and tar pits were everywhere gobbling up creatures. Such bad times. coldplay has said it is a song about a king who has just lost his kingdom and is now reflecting back on his life and the choices he has made. this song is appealing because the 'king' can be any number of people who have fallen from power or grace. it can refer to actual rulers or forgotten movie stars or anything in between. if coldplay made a song so narrow as to only depict the french revolution, nobody would care about it. they didn't. they made this song.

However, I like this video more than the rest because it really shows your point. I heard a version of Viva La Vida on the radio with political clips in it. I have to say that this song is by far one of the greatest songs ever recorded (in my opinion) It says a lot. This video and the images that you used speak volumes about the world in this day and age of instant communication, instant vision, via this massive entity known as the internet. This video, is very poignant to the times that we live in and the challenges we face as a country. Brilliant!

The problem with that is when you buy something from like the supermarket. the food/etc was deliver from a truck probaly, and guess what trucks run on?(gasoline) and we are running low on gas so that's the main reason the gas price/etc cost so much now days. Summary: we use too much gas and we are running out making the demand for gas increase. also making the price increase because of that. taht is just what i think.
