I discovered Eddie Higgins today by accident. I am sorry that i have not heard of him before now. I can only say that my dream woud be to play like him. He his absolutely remarkable. This version of America the beautiful is outstanding. His harmony progressions and phrasing not to mention his key changes makes this arrangement wonderful. A stunning pianist. Amazon here i come. Nobody is going to enlist and fight in a stupid war if America the Beautiful is allowed to become the national anthem. It would encourage thoughtful patriotism not the mindless variety the military prefers.

Eddie Higgins is right. Many thoughtful Americans have long thought that "Star Spangled Banner" ,while deserving of historical reverence, does not reflect the love and yearning patriotism that "America the Beautiful" does.
