Thomas the Tank Engine Train Set - Large Scale

Lionel also has the Thomas the tank engine. He has a bit more features but still the same. Also did it say the scale of the train because my Thomas is g scale. Also lionel has James with the same features as the Lionel Thomas.

Hi my brother bought a thomas today. He thinks it may of been an ex demo as the tape holding the clear screen inside the box was cut. It also has a metallic smell from the wheels/motor area as if its been run....is this normal for a unused model.? Its a great model and i can't beleive the size.

Plus it is Thomas the Tank ENGINE! A tank is a different vehicle altogether. Other than that it is a simple, well put together intro about the models.

I'll stick to getting the drawings together so I can build a version of Thomas in Gauge 1.

Plus, as mentioned before, it is Annie and Clarabel.

I am quite aware he is an engine but anyone reading it knows what i'm talking about . they are all engines : Edward the blue ENGINE, Henry the green ENGINE, Gordon the big blue ENGINE e.c.t. anyway enough about engines i will admit it is mainly about the models rather than Thomas and friends but even so it is a bit obvious he doesen't know much about the show. finally I didn't say annie AND clarabel because it was a spelling correction!

just a little tid bit for ya. the original TV models where gauge 1, which is the same as G scale. So bachmann has literally made a replica of the tv model. Its accualy bigger! the proportion is bigger.

If only Bachmann make Thomas' steps / stairs, which allows the driver to climb up to his cab, make it longer, so that it will looks real! The steps in Thomas model were a bit short! And hope the traction rod will made out f metal instead of plastic, like the OH / OO-gauge locos.

As shipped Thomas items WILL NOT couple with LGB or other cars, the couplers are 1/2" too high, there are SPACERS shown at 6:12 that must be attached to lower the coupler to LGB standard coupler height.
