You talk about acting on customer ' feedback ' and actively encourage to complain when there is a problem with your product. I, and many others on the internet have done this with NO response from the store or dominos.
I'm glad that you believe in minimal hygiene standards, now why not focus on serving food that isn't saturated with fat, salt with no actual health benefit whatesoever.
Domino's Pizza has great service here in Austin, Minnesota. I usually order carry-out these days, but when I've ordered delivery it's pretty much always been on time. On a Friday or Saturday they may take from 35-45 minutes, but that's normal on a weekend. The people on the phone and in the store have always been extremely pleasant. Keep up the good work Domino's!
I ate dominos for two whole weeks straight. Now I can't stand looking at another donimos pizza. Not that there's anything wrong but the fact that I ate too much of it made me sick. The staff were great and really looked after me. But I think they miss me now. I watched every movement and found their standards to be more than professional. Well done dominos.
PS: I will not be looking at another dominos pizza again :D
Unfortunately, that disgusting video did affect how people feel about Dominoes. I will never order Dominoes pizza again. When I look at a pizza I start wondering what are those little bits of unidentafiable objects.
As previously mentioned to you we have strict policies and procedures in place to ensure our gluten free pizzas remain gluten free.
We have responded to you a number of times detailing our strict policies, however we are happy to put you in touch with our Quality Assurance department if you would like to speak to them in more detail about our procedures.
Please email us at favourite@dominos.com.au so we can put you in touch with the right people.
If Domino's Pizza took food safety seriously, they would not be promoting gluten free pizzas! It is illegal to advertise a product as gluten free if there is ANY trace of gluten in it at all. I am tired of being exploited as a niche target market. I'm tired of it. Please really consider this input, as businesses really should comply with the law.
The Coeliac Society says you could have, quite rightly, just promoted these products as 'GLUTEN FREE'!
@LordApathius wow.. Sure.. Americans can be very high and mighty.. and maybe we are hated because we are the super power? Great way to perpetuate the problems of today. Sorry but if we ever went to war with you I would feel equally as bad for your lives lost as ours.. Your sentence shows lack of I.Q.
If Domino's have such high standards, then why do smaller less recognised pizza stores have better tasting, better prepared food and cleaner stores and friendlier staff? This is a sarcastic rhetorical question btw.
...I've had a look at all the comments on this thread to make note of others that have had problems with Dominos and I see that Dominos Bentley WA appears to have unhappy customers. Bentley and Willetton Dominos are very close in proximity so I wonder what the State and Regional Managers are doing about these problems...I agree with georgyporgyspie, Dominos=Bad Pizza
@aappty I work at dominos willetton and i dont think we have a much more hard working people we do so much free work that we are getting fed up with it but we only do it for you our customers working up to 4 in the morning sometimes all nighters to prep food for the busy days its really hard
Domino's Australia has a strict criteria any potential employ must meet. The incident you are referring to occured at a Domino's store in the US. The employees involved had their employment terminated effective immediately and were arrested under a felony warrant.
@DominosAustralia No matter what happened to the Dominos employees, they were initially hired by Dominos. That speaks volumes about the company's hiring processes, if not, the company's processes as a whole.
Dominos should concentrate on making better pizzas and less on publicly shaming their employees through the media.
I sent DominosAustralia a pm about my awful experience in WA and they replied dismissing my experience as a 'store problem'. That is not what this guy is saying here. Mr Meij is guaranteeing the quality of service and food in Australia and New Zealand. Maybe the infamous cases in USA were 'store problems' too. I hate it when Company Directors play a PR stunt and are completely disingenuous or lying.
80% of Domino's Australia's stores are franchised. All the stores undergo random food safety and store cleanliness checks regularly throughout the year. Domino's Australia have a strong franchise support network who oversee franchisees to make sure all stores always meet Domino's high standards. If there is a problem in a store it must first be addressed and resolved at store level so Domino's can guarantee the issue does not occur again.
Domino's Australia has a strict food safety policy which includes all wearing gloves and hairnets. This video may not be from Australia. Domino's Australia has a different uniform from the US.
Garbage. I bought pizza from Dominos Willetton Western Australia and, not only did I not receive what I asked for, I had to throw 3 pizzas and 3 sticky dates in the bin because they were disgusting and contaminated.
Agreed. Either this guy is lying his ass off or seriously deluded. "Better quality!" LMAO...Pizza Hut are much more professional, consistent and the food is fresh. You should order from them next time.
In Australia, nothing is as important as food safety. Not only do we follow the most stringent Food Safety standards in Australia, we go beyond them. Domino's Australia has a 100% customer satisfaction guarentee. If you are unhappy with the product you receive you can contact the store in question and request a refund.
Its the Corporate stores that as the dodgy ones. The Managers and staff workers dont care. but when a person buys the store and turns it into a franchise thats when the Hygine of the store gets better. (sorce Dominos Pizza Newzealand worker)
@aappty ??? well i can say i did not work there 2 years ago but infact work at that store we are only human and we sometimes make mistakes i have many times if you find a mistake 90% of the time we will replace it free of charge and even get it delivered to you as soon as possible. our store is the best store i have worked at we are like a family. now tell me exactly what was wrong?
That's absurd. Every person who works in any kind of customer service or customer data has access to your address, name and phone numbers. Only dominos people bring pizza. Stop being a wanker
get over it, it's not like they are working with children, you think the pizza delivery guy is going to abduct you're child, hardly. you are paranoid.
Thanks for letting us know. In Australia, nothing is as important as food safety. Not only do we follow the most stringent Food Safety standards in Australia, we go beyond them. We will contact the management at the store immediately to resolve the issue.
Confirmed on the phone that the order was received at 7:30pm via the website, called at 8:30pm and was told my pizza was around a half an hour away. Est total wait is an hour and a half.
We get that this was an isolated incident.
How about making sure each location can deliver your pizzas within a decent amount of time instead?
How about background checks? I do like the gloves and hair nets, it's about time. Patick did not say anything about that, I guess we don't get higher standards here in the U.S.A. :(
They don't do background checks for non-management employees here in the U.S. We have two registered sex offenders just at my store. I could drop a dime on them but I figure if the company doesn't care, why should I?
lmao I saw a simpsons episode just the other day where it showed the lucritive jobs felons can look forward to after being released and no surprise they were all take away jobs lmao
you should have more staff/workers in place during public holiday in order to keep everything to be Domino's usual standards. I would like to know if this can be helped, and if you say it will improve I will try to order Pizza again during a public holiday and report back here, delivery again cause I don't like to pick up.. All in all I think Dominos has really done a great job. All the best!
Hi I just want to comment/suggest because I ordered Domino's delivery during public holiday and I had to wait over an hour for my Pizza that I ordered from the store in Bentley WA 6107. Though I called to ask and the person who answered was really friendly and did ask weather I still wanted the Pizza. I said yes, I can tell they were really busy, I was worried that my Pizza would arrive cold and that exactly what happen, I had to microwave it which reduces the quality. My suggestion is maybe-
and the incident just goes to show that dominos stuffed up and do not have systems in place to prevent this happening in the first place.. I've certainly stopped ordering pizza from dominos.

We eat Domino's weekly during Rove and will continue doing so.

@DominosAustralia What a pure load of shit.
You ever actually walked into one of your "restaurants" and watched the people prep the stuff?
You know... With the open containers, old spoons that have been used for days, filthy dirty benches covered in a days worth of spills?
Have you ever tasted the ingredients?
Ever experienced an ingredient which was less then 6 months old?
Dominos pushed the profit margin past the limit. If more people wake up to the crap you call food can only be good
