  • williams has always been to me, a much better dramatic actor than comic. jake was great. borrowed this from the library a few weeks ago and when they said jake was in it, kept looking for a man finally dawned that he was the boy. great acting from a superbly wriiten/acted show.

  • My drama teacher was on this show :D Isn't that f*cking awesome?

  • This was one of their many great episodes...Williams on this one was simply fantastic.

  • I'm impressed with both Jake and Robin WOW they are great actors!

  • somebody knows were i can find subtitles in spanish for this serie? i can`t find it ! or a translator for the subtitles in english, i really need it! thanks, greetings from argentina!

  • Robin Williams is one of the best actors EVER! There aren't many who can do serious or funny with the same credibility.

  • aaawww...jakey poo don't cry <333

  • Jakey<3 so sweet :D

  • Jake looks like something out of Saved by the Bell!!!! Haha.

  • wow Robin William here, amazing actor! And look at little Jake Gyllenhaal who plays Matt, impressed!

  • The kid who plays Matt is good.

  • JAKE!

  • jake was soooooooo hawt!! even back then!

  • Love Jakey's shirt:D

  • robin williams crazyness

  • Best show ever, IMHO. I was sad when it ended, but at least it had some sort of closure.

  • woah! i didnt recognize him until i read the description and saw 1994

  • awwwh, jakey <33 and yeah, the hair was....nvm. but his hair color was really pretty :D

  • @msnumber3 This is season 2, episode 1.

  • Great series.

As I recall this was the pilot!

  • Oh my god that hair. That's what the early nineties does to you...

  • It was great to watch Homicide last night on Centric. Luther Mahoney got his! A really great episode, just part of a really great series!

  • omg!!! robin williams!!! wat??? cool... this made me wanna see this show even more!!!

    THANKS FOR THE UPLOAD!

  • Jake Gyllenhaal had a small part in "A Dangerous Woman" I have his scene, I'll have to upload it though.

  • Always Lurking in the backround of Homicide is Adena Watson and Luther Mahoney!

  • beautiful jake! :)

  • the camera work fits perfect you fucking faggot! thats called "style"

  • terrible hair

  • Jake Gyllenhaal is such a great actor!

  • Ohh wow, jake was soo cute. He`s just tooo gorgeouse now. lol ! pwwoooaaarr!

  • that waz some awesome crying

  • Hoo my god!

That boy is jake gyllenhaal !!!!!

I rather prefer his perfomance in Brokeback mountain

  • My wife and I thought this was the best TV series ever...until The Wire on HBO edged it out. The Wire could do things on HBO you could not do on regular TV. The Wire was written by the same writer who wrote the original book and series Homicide and combines Baltimore Homicide and Narcotics...it is awesome. Check it out on Wikipedia, IMDB and get the DVD set(s).

  • You're absolutely right, The Wire is the most amazing show in TV history and it retroactively got me into Homicide.

  • The Wire is all time best TV, real police, natural police (and I don't give that up very easily). Next was Homicide (good police as well - murder police).

  • It was not only was of the best, it was also the most underrated I loved that show, and it didn't get any kind of praise or anything.

  • Best show ever. Period.

  • I saw this episode...guy lost his wife...it was sad :-(

  • this was one of the best cop show ever. There was no shooting very little blood. Great stories great acting. I have this show on DVD. check it out if you get a chance.

  • Oh wow, just too cool, and Robin Williams to boot.... one of the best shows EVER!

  • I'm sorry-I liked Luther Mahoney- he was just the type of guy that you loved to hate.

  • Munch has black hair WOW

  • Woo He's My Age Here =D

Didn't get to see he face propperly thoughh =(

  • ..aw....O__O

  • and robin williams!!!

  • he was a terrific actor, even at this age.

    wow.

  • every episode they would do a crazy camera angle to add to the intensity of the scene.Like repeating and 360 shots. I watched the show just to see what crazy angle they'd use

  • I love det crasetti. They never should have taken him off the show. He was a real great cop role.

  • he's so amazing!!even when he was 10. <3

  • "Bop Gun" is one of the saddest eppys of Homicide:Life on the Street

  • This show had some of the greatest writers, in its time at one point I think it even far exceeded Law & Order... such an underrated show.

  • I agree; it was ahead of its time. If it had been on FX or HBO it might not have struggled so much for its audience.

  • This episode was on last night.Had no idea Gyllenhall was in this one. This particular episode was moving.

  • When Jake became a big star , I remembered him from this. But I think the fact his dad directed this episode is why he is in it, rather than talent.

  • Nice hair *laughs*

    Cat -x-

  • Robin Williams' performance in this episode had me crying out loud and hard. Especially the scene on the roof.

  • DUDE IS ROBIN WILLIAMS!!! DUDE IS THE DUDE FROM LAW AND ORDER!!! DUDE IS THE HOTTEST MAN ALIVE JAKE GYLLENHAAL!!!! Jake wasn't nearly as hot in this as he is now cuz..ya know, age and everything...also, they chose the worst hair for him :( oh wellzz... :)

  • This Is Such A GREAT Scene<3 He Is A Great Acter Too :D I Totally LOVE Him=)

  • This was probably Homicides greatest clip.Robin Williams was brilliant and so was Jake.

  • I agree about his pronunciation of the word "blood." If there was any doubt its him (simply because you can't see his face) there ain't anymore. And Amen to him gettin' rid of that hair!

  • omg, this made me tear up a bit... whoa

  • OMG, I love Jake,I have to admit that he's not only hot but he's also talented. But that god he out grew that haircut eh?

  • Oh my god, he's amazing! I can't wait until his next movie!

  • LoL aww lol when he said the word "blood" lol.. still sounds the same today his lil accent he has.. =) aww i wuv him

  • omg listen to his first words.

    its so cute

  • I totally remember this episode, it was so sad! I had no idea that was him until seeing it again now & Jake looks so young yet so handsome at the same time. He still looked so young in "City Slickers," it's almost hard to recognize him, but you can totally tell it's him in this clip. Look at those eyes, that's 100% Jake!!!

  • i loved that show. only cop show i like

  • Almost forgot that Robin Williams could act until i saw this

  • That is pure Gyllenhaal talent! Oh, my godess! Has he always been this great?

  • wow, that was a great crying scene. they both were so talented at such a young age. Jake was so cute! <3

  • wow, I'm glad he cut his hair.

  • So cute.

  • The girl is Julia Devin, she's so cute and great, when she said: Matt, he never cries...

  • Awww I Jake was a great actor even then. The little girl was really good too, do you know who she was?

  • OMG!! jakey... how cute he is.. and really talented but i cant stand seeing him crying even it's a role

  • wow! It's Jake!! Awesome! Talented even when he was young!!
