  • And how is this CATHOLIC?

  • Catholics wanted for flagellation all over the world for the rape and murder of children.

  • This is were satan would love to see Jesus every day for the rest of eternity. Beaten, whipped, powerless, hanging on a cross, dead. It's sad that believers have to re act these moments when Jesus was crucified. I know in my heart Father God takes an offence to this.

  • @MarcouxRoadSermons I know in my heart Father God takes an offence to this.>> Father god should take offense to the 35,000 who will die from hunger today, to the 2 billion who go hungry today, to the 100,000 INNOCENT children who suffucated under the rubble in Haiti, etc. etc. Where is this LOVING god ?

  • Shit. That one guy looked like he needed to go to the hospital.

  • Hoping that this boat will lead them somewhere wonderful, but the thing is that just assuming this boat is going somewhere wonderful is close minded... Example, you and a friend are in a room and the lights begin to flicker and your friend automatically says oh dear it's a ghost and jumping immediately to that conclusion is just being close minded, and when you disagree with your friends neurons in his mind literally turn on and they are the same ones that turn on when you are in a dangerous si

  • You don't get it, ALL religion is crazy not just being Catholic and being Mormon isn't or Jews aren't and Muslims are, most people who are religious don't even understand the true source of information that's been passed down for generations. They simply get on a boat with a shit load of other people and chill for the ride

  • well this is not really Catholicism this is the phillapean culture and how they have interpreted suffering of Christ. This is a cultural issue not Catholisim.

  • IDK WAT THE VIDS ABOUT... I SAW LIKE 4 SECS OF IT... ITS JUS SOMETHING BOUT UR FACE DAT MAKE ME WANA...JUS... FUKIN BEAT IT TO SHIT!!!!!

  • @Gnoseon777 I'm sure you're a lovely person IRL, but honestly? The fact we don't put people under house arrest for saying the earth goes around the sun, or condemn people for being devil worshippers for land rights or turning down sexual passes, etc....definitely a sign of PROGRESS.

  • HAHAHAHA. How funny you find it all. I would have slapped you too, since under communism millions of people were murdered.

  • None of this stuff is really Christian. Jesus Christ Himself taught us how we should pray. We don't do things publicly like this to increase our stature among men or for man's approval. What they are doing in this video is essentially sacreligous - It's like saying Jesus Christ's onetime bloody sacrifice on the Cross for all mankinds sins was not good enough.

  • WHAT PART OF 'THIS ACTIVITY IS NOT CONDONED BY THE CHURCH' DON'T YOU PEOPLE GET?

  • any job-openings at that church? sounds awesome, i did whip those #$%@$% for free.

  • Look. All you people with this Conspiracy stuff may be true, but didn't Christ say the weeds would grow with the wheat? The good and the bad are mixed togethor and when the time ends the Lord will send out his Angels to sort them out. Even Jesus allowed and loved Judas as one of his disciples knowing he was a devil.

  • As someone who was raised in the church, I can tell you this:

You can either have Catholicism, or you can be a part of human progression. YOU CANNOT HAVE BOTH.

  • @rabidrabbitshuggers The problem with "taking someone's word for it" is that very often someone's opinions on the church, or anything else for that matter, are colored by their own experiences. As a convert to Catholicism, my experience has been nothing short of wonderful. I converted from Atheism, and I know what many would consider "human progression." But just because we are moving in a direction, does not mean that direction is "progress", in fact it very well may be the opposite.

  • Wow, looks like they want to suffer MORE then Jesus. LOL

  • Catholicism in the U.S.= Go to church on Easter & Xmas.

  • it looks like these people have an EXTREME bondage fetish

  • This is ignorancy of Bible!!! That's not what Jesus wants... God wants love between us, not sacrifice... Maybe for these ones that do it it is easier to mortify their bodies than to forgive the brethren. STUDY THE BIBLE! LEARN FROM HOLY SPIRIT!

  • Israel is Mystery Babylon, Israel will not be reformed until Jesus returns, the Vatican is Satan's counterfeit Mystery Babylon

    Prophecies concerning Mystery Babylon:

Israel is the youngest of end time great nations, Jerusalem is where Jesus was crucified, founded in the occult has seal of solomon / hexagram on its flag (israel was founded right after 4 blood red moons so astrology) Sits on 7 hills, Jerusalem sits on 7 hills. Human slave trade (Russian sex slavery)

  • @Ravenous11yt

Coherent sentences - Your's is not one of them.

It's so good to see that you are another person blaming satan. I bet you think that he put fosslis on earth too.

  • st francis of assisi did similar to these folks, all they did was name SAN FRANCISCO and SANTA FE NM after him

  • @ideologger. Your right I'm not a Christian, my point was that is this not a good image for the church and I was talking to someone else. Sorry if I worded it wrong but I would guess that to be a good Christian you'd have to concentrate on the life teachings of Jesus not "celebrate" the barbaric way he was killed

  • @bheadh. You got to be joking, please tell me how is this good for the church and it's image.Christians should celebrate Christ's life not mourn he's death

  • @8496ricko Christians "should celebrate Christ's life not mourn he's death" like some great aunt who passed away? The doctrine of the atonement is silly, but it is the foundation of Christian belief. If you don't believe that you should celebrate Christ's death, then you're not a Christian.

  • @ideologger Jesus said "pick up your cross and follow me"

  • God bless. These people have a simple but fervent faith. A few welts on their backs may be done in praying for ALL OF US. This is part of the Passion of Christ. This is what they do with their suffering..unite it with The Lords. What do you do with yours?

  • i call bullshit

  • So, you just now are learning that people do this, congratulations....you're now smarter than were....lol.

  • These people are trying to identify themselves with what Jesus did for their sakes and for yours. They are also offering this to God for your sake so that you might repent of your sins and be grateful to Him for what He has done for you. If you ever get into Heaven it may be because one of these people prayed for you. and offered this suffering for you.

  • BUDDY, YOU WANNA SEE WHAT EXTREME IS?????????????????? SEARCH THE TERM '''KUTHU RATHEEBH'''' ON YOUTUBE OR GOOGLE...

  • How is this wrong, do explain!

  • Those people are retarded

  • HAH

  • How about all the crazy christians do this? Whip themselves and whip themselves... And when you go numb? Keep doing it! :) Just keep going and going until you feel a cold sensation! That's the concrete! :D And you can go and see god! :DDDDD

  • im in the Philippines to those guys when there finish doing that ridiculous and harmful shit they just repeat there mistakes and drink beer and have sex with other women thats not their wives.

  • lol this man is a complete moron most people have known about this for years. He acts like he just discovered it and no one else knows lmao get a job or read some books

  • There going to get a bunch of extra points in heaven

  • YES... this is the catholic faith in severe practice of self sacrifice.

.They believed they need to duplicate the pain

  • This is not Catholicism, this is some weird Asian shit!

  • Its been explained before...this is what Americans have no concept about: Penitent. Yes, this is extreme, I think this was induced by Spanish conquest of the Philippines. To punish insubordination among the natives, the Spanish Friars used this punishment and claimed that this had to be done to stop the wrath of Spain and therefore God. This is not sanctioned by the Catholic church but is allowed by the government, hurray for separation of church and state.

  • @Nofanatics in Philippine history, this was done by the priests to punish Filipinos who refuse to abide by them, being killed to be the worst, then evolved into doing to one's self so they would be "heard" and "forgiven" by God for having sinned.the church allot one day during holy week for it, organizes it and the local government funds it.you mentioned before that protestants have "monetary penitence" which contradicts you saying they don't have concept of such.and FYI it's not 50%,just 10%.

  • 1) I bet you all 10thousand doll hairs, that there God is filipino.

    2) Could you imagine people who get sexually turned on by getting hurt going there?

  • Yeah, the catholic church says that they do not support this..but they do let it and don't do anything to stop it..hypocrites!Only the catholics do this therefore it is safe to say that they do this because of their catholicism..and,it originated years and decades back when they promoted it.They just changed it to lessen the questionable doctrines issues surrounding the church.I'm a Filipino and it saddens me to see other Filipinos do this. The Real God surely is not pleased by hurting ourselves.

  • @laevalla Freedom of expression and separation of church and state. These people chose to do this, this is how they express their penitent. Some pray all day, some kneel for the whole rosary, in some protestant traditions, they give 50% of their savings to their church as a way of penitence (financial hurt), some fast and some meditate under a hot sun....each his own way of showing suffering for atonement.

  • @Nofanatics there is no separation of church and state here because politicians here are controlled by the catholic church.if you're a Filipino you'd know.they chose to do it because the catholic church made them believe that this is necessary for them to be heard by God.there is nowhere in the bible saying that God is that tough hearing only those who are hurting themselves like this.Christians believe that the human body is a temple..a temple of God.would you destroy a temple like this?

  • @laevalla I believed the Filipino constitution is patterned after the US Constitution and would therefore have separation of church and state. You have Protestant and Muslim politicians and citizens. I dont think Filipinos are stupid enough to follow what you claim as a Catholic mandate. That is another Protestant propaganda telling the world that Filipinos are backwards and stupid. I am British and I promote Filipinos, its a shame that fellow Filipinos demote themselves.

  • @Nofanatics yeah, our constitution is patterned after the US' but their contents are not the same.only laws that the catholic church agree on are being passed here.for instance, the Reproductive Health Bill w/c they oppose so much is not even though our population is already sky-rocketing making lots of my fellow Filipinos suffer w/ poverty.politicians are afraid to pass it because the church says they will be excommunicated.i am a catholic but it doesn't make me blind w/ the church's mistakes.

  • @Nofanatics and don't go too far from the topic.1)if you agree on doing this to one's self to be heard by God,try doing it too.i know you're a catholic..and if you do(pertaining to the 1st statement),then 2)you don't believe that the human body is sacred and a temple of God that should be taken care of and protected..and if you don't(pertaining to the 2nd statement),then you're not Christian.

  • @laevalla What? The topic is Extreme Penitent in the Philippines. You disagree of the actions because you believe Filipinos are FOOLED by the church into doing extreme penitent and the government goes along with it. I say it is not the case...the church does not sanction it but the government looks away because this is a religious act and there is a separation of state and religion. By law, the government cannot interfere with the acts. You say the church control the government.it would b illegal

  • @Nofanatics fooled?because they are.just like their ancestors were.just like your ancestors were to murder those who wouldn't give in to "christianity"(catholicism).FYI we were under Spain for more than 400 years and freed for only 100 years now..and other beliefs just came in during mid 1900s so yeah, some of us haven't advanced from the dark ages yet..dark literally.

  • @laevalla By your history, you had 2000 years of Hindu, 100 years of Islam, 300 years of Catholicism and 100 years of Protestantism or separation of religion and state. Your constitution Article 2 section 6 Section state that: The separation of Church and State shall be inviolable. The church helped prevent violence during your Marcos revolution. The church is what is keeping your people moral...even as it is, there are immoralities going on, Your government needs to change not the church.

  • @Nofanatics let's say you're a Filipino.would you do this too?really?would you?then you're also a priest who believes in the "separation of church and state"..would you tell people "don't vote for this man because he's pro-RH Bill." or "you mr. senator will be excommunicated if you continue supporting the RH Bill."?you don't promote Filipinos..you don't know anything about us..you promote catholic Filipinos..you know only catholicism.visit our country and i'd be glad to accompany you around.

  • @laevalla I am Catholic and I am British...we have had our share of Protestant oppression. We cant even have a Catholic Prime Minister. Our constitution differs from the US. A couple of hundred years ago we had a big fight because of human rights. If what you claim in happening, then report it. Filipinos are not lawless people. BTW I have been to your beautiful country, and no, I would not flog or crucify myself, i dont believe in it. But, those people have every right to do what they do.

  • @Nofanatics well, maybe that's ur country's way of making sure there is separation of church and state..a non-catholic PM.majority of u r catholics so a non-catholic PM wouldn't hurt.your kings and queens r catholics anyways.besides, there is no sense in comparing ur country to mine.they r totally different.yeah,we have laws but they r not equally enforced.here, those who have money and power r above the law.u've been to our "beautiful" country.yeah,to the beautiful parts.try to see majority of it.

  • @laevalla Our country suffered the worse in the anti-catholic uprising. The royalties: Kings and Queens are Protestants and so are the government. Many Catholics were discriminated against both royals and subjects alike. My point is.. UK is protestant and so is the US, they demote any catholic movement. The Philippines is Catholic and thus do the same only in the opposite. I dont agree with it. But it is the case and is human nature. People adjust as we do in the UK.

  • @laevalla if you are not happy how your country is....why not do something about it? Many of your people especially the professionals are here in the UK and the US. Why not help your country change rather than run away? Your revolutionist Rizal, Bonifacio and Aguinaldo were all freemasons and were against the Spanish Friars, even your flag is mostly masonic symbols. They voiced out...why dont you? Otherwise you do what most Catholic Brits did...leave for another country the USA.

  • @Nofanatics so,you agree in the catholic church not doing anything to stop it even though you say you don't believe in it and the church disagrees with it.that's the only reason majority are catholics here..convenience..freedom..because the church doesn't care how hell you live your life as long as you remain a catholic.i'm sure those devouts will listen to the church if it tells them to stop.the fact that they let it is wrong.what's the point of defending something you don't believe in anyways?

  • @laevalla The church discourage it, but also recognizes people's freedom to express themselves. You seem to have as problem with other people's freedom to express. The Philippines is not a totalitarian regime, unlike communist countries that ban religion and freedoms.

  • @Nofanatics discourages it?yet they give one day during holy week for this.yet they ask the local government to lay budget for this.if you disagree w/ something u won't show anything that will reinforce it.how can they discourage it if they facilitate it?BTW you seem to deviate from other issues(ie separation of church and state) i've pointed out in the past which concludes i'm right.if you really promote Filipinos, try to know more about us without bias.

  • @laevalla Think of the Philippines as similar to Israel. The only Catholic majority country in Asia. Infact, the only Christian majority country in Asia surrounded by non-Catholics, of course by instinct you would defend and promote that as Israel does, otherwise you will be assimilated into the other nations religion and traditions. As it is, Islam is fast growing, you have the Balik Islam and other christian to Islam groups. Being the only catholic country, they will hold fast 2 their religion

  • @Nofanatics there is no point in comparing them because again, they are totally different countries.it's like, thinking of a fly and a mosquito..yeah,they are both insects but they are different from one another so they behave differently.what's the point of "case-to-case basis" if we would always generalize.no one's invading us so no need to defend.and historically, catholicism was the only forceful religion killing those who wouldn't give in.because if not, majority of us wouldn't be catholics.

  • @Nofanatics recognizes people's freedom?yet they oppose the RH Bill so much even though majority of the catholics agrees with it already.yet they don't let our politicians do their jobs without having fear of being excommunicated.yet they tell people not to go inside the church if they are pro-RH Bill.FYI some priests run for office.they win the first time but not the next.because they can't govern..they can only preach.they don't have actions..they only have words.

  • @laevalla You support the RH Bill I assume. From what I have read, on face value, it is counter productive to the country as a whole. But as I examine the bill, I found reasons why people would oppose it. Any religious organization whether it be catholic, protestant or islam, if they oppose abortion, they will oppose the bill. To the opponents, this is a matter of killing a life and will go at length to oppose it. To proponents, it is economics.

  • @Nofanatics yeah,i support it.practicality-wise: just so u know 70% of us are lower middle class-poor and they have the greatest number of children and majority of them are either uneducated or have low-quality education so if we don't act now,the Philippines would be the poorest and worst country in the world.morality-wise: abortion rate is so high in here due to UNWANTED pregnancies.the bill is just there to prevent them.how can it be abortion if there's nothing to abort in the first place?

  • @Nofanatics besides, the bill does not force couples to abide by it.it just gives them more options.it's up to them if they will accept it's suggestions or not.and FYI only the catholic church opposes it.other religions would just say, "if that's what our government officials need to do to give our country a better future then so be it.let's just let them do their job".

  • @Nofanatics BOTTOMLINE: the church should never interfere w/ government officials' law-making decisions..they don't have the right of shutting people up in humiliating and unjust manner just because they support what they oppose..it is stated that "separation of church and state is inviolable" but does not specifically say how it would be violated..vague..therefore,nonsense.

  • @Nofanatics BTW,your profile picture which is of a Filipino actress, alongside your sense of defensiveness for issues i pointed out, somewhat gives me an impression to question if you are pure Brit or whether you really are..and you're not even using your real name so there's no way for me to verify. But nevertheless,if you really want to promote Filipinos please let us "advance from the dark ages".You're not the one facing those issues on a day-to-day basis anyways so let us handle it.

  • @laevalla Yes I do not put my real information online, everyone knows that common sense dictates that it is futile to do so. Just as there are many crimes, there are many criminals. To commit a crime does not need the plan to do so, but only to have the opportunity presented. As far as advancing from the "Dark Ages", only Filipinos themselves can do that. Much like an addict, it doesnt matter how much outside help is given, the self MUST want the change.

  • Comment removed

  • @Nofanatics but in debates and open argumentation, your whole case and defense would be invalidated due to questionable credibility.me,using my true name and face just suggests that i take pride in everything i say and believe in,presenting their truthfulness.i face whatever comes of my actions and words.i don't hide.and if a profile picture and name provoke crime and can be used in such,as what you are saying, then the crime would be against that Filipino actress.better use other picture then.

  • @laevalla somehow, the man than made the remarks to this video, seems like he has the mentality of a 12 year old for showing the video ,and making his own subjective moronic uneducated statements .Somehow in his own uneducated mind he, or( you) believe that posting a you tube video, then making subjective ignorant remarks makes you the authority. hint its called stupidity moron .really you are not impressing anyone but yourself like most other people who are maladjusted lmfao

  • @davidnco1 welcome to the world you seem to hate so much bro.you just got yourself in.i bet you feel the same way now huh!?doing what every one of us just do.you just took the spotlight.enjoy it while it lasts.you're pretty much impressed with yourself now aren't you?well, atleast you are.that's the least, and hopefully not the most ,you can have.

  • @Nofanatics Yeah, only us can do that & 1 way of doing so is the church stopping influencing and interfering with our law-makers.."the self must want the change"?well, that's the thing..because they obviously don't want to change even if members are already begging.they're too fond of their power and influence.latest controversy on them?bishops having SUVs out of government fund from the former president during the 2007 elections campaign period and one of them asking for one as birthday gift.

  • @Nofanatics and not only was it from government fund,it was also from gambling..would it be legal or not it's still gambling.

  • @pfkelley it sounds like you have a islamic sound in the backround

  • i dont even....

  • Looks like they havent advanced from the dark ages

  • @MKJLFilms Every country has its quirks, just because its different doesn't mean its primitive. America's south is still racist after so many years, its America's quirk. Britain still have Royalties, people still pay tribute, it is UK's quirk. Jordanian women still wear veils when their own queen is so modern...it doesn't mean its primitive.

  • silly Christians... fairy tales are for kids

  • couldn't watch the whole video i saw plenty

  • this is not a christian thing, try philippino islam come buttfuck devil worship

  • i need to do a crap

  • Hahahaha one of the two kids in the double crucifixion has his knees spread! Which is probably how the Romans nailed people to their execution crosses. Adds to the humiliation factor.

And to all those who say the Roman Catholic church doesn't support this, if it weren't for Christianity in the first place, none of this would ever happen!

  • I love how the kids are laughing at the Jesus impersonators. Ha, look at the fucktard. Ha!

  • not Catholic, it is a local crazy custom.

  • Everytime I hear a slap, i think, "Great.. one less fanatic spouting off christ'o'babble."

  • If I were there with a whip I'd do the job properly. Bunch of slack jawed faggots.

  • look what christianity/religion does to people.

you can say they are not christian all you like, but they just might not fit your ideals, and in their mind they are chirstian.

  • THE KKK WEARS MASK JUST LIKE THE ONES THE MASOCHISTS IN THE VIDEO ABOVE WEAR, EXCEPT THE KLAN MEMBERS HAVE BURNING CROSSES LAID UPON THEIR BACKS WHILE WRITING CHECKS TO THE POOR IN THE AMOUNT OF EVERY PENNY THEY HAVE, THEY DO NOT TIE WHIPS, BUT NOOSES AND GIVE THEM TO THE DESERVING POOR, MOST OF THEM ARE ALSO MASONS - THEY ARE REAL MEN - TOP THAT YOU RING KISSES POPEAPHILES!

  • @jehovahuponyou English please?

I SLEEP NOW, ALL THIS TYPING HAS MAKE ME SLEEPY.

    ROFL!

  • you know good and damned well that "CATHILIC" was simply a typo on my part. Second, there is only ONE holy Catholic and apostolic church, the one founded by Jesus Christ Himself and what was established then and there,, IS what the Catholic church is about. Anything else is NOT Catholic. It matters not what anyone thinks THEIR way of being Catholic is,if they are not practicing what was set forth by Christ Himself, they are not true Catholics.Im done with you. dont respond to this anymore.please.

  • My father was in the seminary as a young man and my mother taught religion for six years, I know my Cathilic faith inside and out,,Your goal here is to portray my faith in a different light than what it is. Opus dei is considered inaccurate and anti Catholic by tons of people. This self flagellation is not a teaching of Christ or the church. Ask ten thousand Caholics if they have ever whipped themselves and drawn blood I guarantee your answer will be quite clear who is wrong here.

  • @mondoshrimpo

"Your goal here is to portray my faith in a different light than what it is..."

yeah, that's what i'm doing...and what "light" would that be? do you know how many theists believe THEIR way of practicing the same religion as you (or some other) is 'the right way'? there is NO 'standard' by which to access what 'light' your choice of 'god' and religion should be seen in. do we see it in the light as described by the bible? or by the history of the actions of your religion?

  • @mondoshrimpo

"I know my Cathilic faith inside and out..."

and that is correct...you know YOUR "cathilic (sic) faith" so well you can't even spell it correctly. yet you are unwilling to admit far more than 10,000 others of the same faith as you know their's equally as well, yet practice it differently.

  • I'm Catholic and we don't do this.....

  • i have been catholic since birth (45 years) and this is NOT Catholicism. Nowhere in any Catholic book, church,or teaching,,is this listed as anything to do with being Catholic, this is just a bunch of people acting out the Passion. I dont know who came up with this bizarre 'ritual' but this is not the Catholic Church.

  • @mondoshrimpo

it is truly amazing just how little theists even know about the history and practices of their OWN FREAKIN RELIGIONS...you have obviously never heard of opus dei either?

  • @flashoftruth I stand firmly behind my comment. We have never been encouraged or taught to lie on the ground pretending to be Christ being scouraged with fake blood and tied to a a cross. This is simply some other cultures interpretation of the Passion...What IS amazing is the number of people who feel it is their place to tell other people what to believe in or that their own faith is wrong. You seem to be a self righteous angry retard.

  • @mondoshrimpo

well then...it is obvious that your ability to differentiate between what "seems to be" and reality is in question considering what you believe to begin with. as well, not being aware of the practices of your own religion i am not surprized...

  • atheist arent communist that a misconception

  • This is protestant. This is not Catholic. It's participants routinely refuse to recognise the authority of the Church.

  • This must be some weird Pilipino thing... I can assure you that this is NOT a Catholic thing.

  • As a Filipino, this is what we called "penintencia." It's a sacrifice by many Filipino individuals especially in the provinces in observation of holy week. Philippines has a tradition of traditional Spanish Catholicism. However this acts are not authorize by the Vatican/Holy See. The Catholic Church is against this. They're doing this on their own and it shouldn't be misinterpreted with the Catholic Church.

  • And this boys and girls is just one of the reasons I'm athiest.

  • Lol wtf is thiis? atheism is the way

  • Idiots...

  • This is not catholic ! and has nothing to do with the catholic church

  • @iSteven00 Yeah, I come from the Philippines and some of my neighbors (all Catholic) did this.

  • @iSteven00

it most certainly is catholic...i went to google it to find the name of what it is called (flagellation) and started to type in "catholics that..." and IMMEDIATELY found what i was looking for and a whole lot more...i suggest you do the same and learn yet another of the dumbass things associated with 'organized' religion...

  • @flashoftruth Well I am also catholic and I have never seen things like this, and it is definitely not supported by Rome just like all the Islam suicide bombers are not supported by most Muslims

  • @iSteven00

oh, well that settles it...if you haven't ever seen it, then it must not be true...but wait...you haven't ever seen your 'god' either...so what does that mean?

it doesn't matter if it's "supported by rome"...do you mean to tell me you have never heard of "opus dei"? why don't you just google "religious self mutilation" and see what comes up?

  • @flashoftruth Ah right I already see what kind of person u are, never mind then

  • @iSteven00 it actualy is religious its an act of self mutilation so that god may hear them through there pain and prays so that theyr request may be granted it happens once a year for goodluck

  • this is not sanctioned by the Roman Catholic Church, typical ignorant misrepresentaion

  • You belong to a gay group though don't you!

  • @TheShirlock Yeah, and even worse, he sucks another man's dick. LMAO what a faggot!

  • This is actually not supported by the local Catholic Church in the area.

  • looks sexy

  • Religion is wonderful, isn't it?

Looks like fun. Where do I sign up?

  • What appears to be missing is an understanding of why these people are placing themselves in physical situations - to experience what Jesus went through when he suffered. what about hours of heavy weight lifting, is that extreme? Ever give football practise in heavy pads in August in the South where it's 100 degress as extreme? Certain no pain or death there? Pierced eye brows/tongues/tatoo's not extreme? No blood no pain? These people R mentally tougher than most including pfkelly

  • @1seticat i dont think u understand, these people r mentally weak as i suspect u r and dumb enough to scar themselves over a lie. i understand that u as a religious type can confuse mental toughness for stupidity just as the people in this vid have. i know that u r mentally weak and insecure and thinking god has a plan for u makes life easier, but seriously bro its time for u and every1 like u to stop quoting babble from a book that was written in the bronze age and find inner strength.

  • @kbforme I do understand. What's interesting is that U believe they're mentally "weak?" Consider their side of this. 1. U don't believe in God, they do. Fine. Isn't that really your issue? If this were a professional sport would U believe these people stupid? Debbie Reynolds when preparing to star in "Singing in the Rain" pracrticed dancing till her feet bled. Gene Tunney, a heavyweight boxer champion years ago was a Rhoades Scholar. Christ said love 1 another. Is that babble?

  • @1seticat they are mentally weak in the respect they need to believe an invisible man has a plan for them just so they can get through life, when u dont understand somthing(like the origin of life)its so much easier to say "god did it" than actually use ur brain to think about it. furthermore these people r stupid enough to flog themselves bloody in the name of a religion i suspect they know little about, if those cuts get infected is god gonna kill the bacteria and save them?

  • Idiots...put that much effort into continuing education...change the world literally....this is pathetic

  • Yeah, I don't really believe that it was real blood and hardcore whipping. They spent a whole day pretending to hurt themselves, no one should ever question their faith.

    Religion is stupid, still.

  • yeah i'm a filipino and i saw that once too, well the truth is,most of the people there use food coloring, not real blood, they say that that is their statement of faith,it's called senakulo, and i kinda think that its not a way to show faith in God

  • I want to have my next Bday party there!

  • Where were these people when the light was turned on? These poor misguided and deceived souls......Lost and don't know it!!!! They and their organisation.

  • Where were these people when the light was turned on? These poor misguided and deceived souls......Lost and don't know it!!!!

  • this is seriously f*cked up! i don't understand how those men can whip others like that... how do they sleep at night. makes me sick - all in the name of religion.

  • yeah...the thing is, they may be catholics but what they are doing is not catholicism. I defy you to show me in the Catechism where catholics are instructed to do any of this. that's like claiming the NFL enforces face painting by the fans. your false premise is little more than nonsense.

  • Comment removed

  • Just as Cain vainly tried to impress God with the works of his hands, so do Catholics try to impress God with their good works and ceremonialism. Catholicism is a damnable lie that has been in the world since Cain. God will smash the Catholic Whore with His judgments.

  • Through infant baptism, keeping sacraments, church membership, going to mass, praying to Mary, and confession (just to mention a few), the Catholic church has developed a system of salvation through WORKS. God's word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not through works". "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Eph. 2:8-9)

  • This is the product of christian's forcing their ridiculous religion on a culture that is now substituting one ridiculous tradition for another. If people would just be a good person for the sake of being human, live and work for the human race and not for one's own postmortem gain a whole lot of people would still be alive.

  • @shiftandgoh22 oh brother..that's deep!

  • @shiftandgoh22 Wrong. Do not confuse catholicism with Christianity.

  • @kiwichristian2009 Still trying to improve ones position in gods eye as to get into a heaven.

  • @shiftandgoh22 "This is the product of christian's forcing their ridiculous religion" No this is Practical atheist's in the guise of Christianity forcing themselves onto others. You know nothing about Christianity nor are you able to discern who and who is not a Christian. No true Christian would murder; it goes against their very nature. Ever heard of "thou shall not murder"? or "Love your neighbor as yourself"? That is true Christianity and true Christians are obedient.

  • fake, move on. Ketchup on your shirt isnt real.

  • @699backstab

No actually, these people take this stuff very seriously. Unfortunately it's very real what goes on over there.

  • Sometimes we say our lives are hard...but imagine how hard it is, to be a prisoner of your own mind and ignorance...

  • this is not Christianity........ Jesus would hate to see this

  • This is a terrible impression for the kids. Sure they will want to be a catholic now!!

  • I once said I wish we were all communist and I got slapped across the face, keep in mind this happened in 2011, Catholics have to learn restraint.

  • @xxxeMoforAday22xxx Wrong. catholics have to learn that their organisation is unbiblical and anti-Christian.

  • @kiwichristian2009 How do you plan to teach us that our Catholic faith is anti-

Christian, when for example, the suffering we say that we have, or cause ourselves

to have, we offer it up in union with Christs suffering for our love for Christ.

We are so very different and still share a deep love for Jesus. I obviously keep

comming back to learn more, and yet it is what I already learned and we see so

    differently.

  • @ILOVEJESUS556 I have shown you how the roman catholic organisation is contrary to what God teaches us in His Word. You talk of "sufferings". Remember, it is NOT of works or sufferings that you are saved. To God, they are but filthy rags, remember.

  • @kiwichristian2009 You have shown me many things,my friend. Filthy rags,

interesting. Suffering ties in more with the souls in purgatory. I know what you

think of purgatory, always feel free to comment. God bless you!

  • @ILOVEJESUS556 Indeed. :) And the purpose of suffering is to get people out of purgatory faster, yes?

  • @kiwichristian2009 Yes, but it is also to become closer to Jesus. What about the

stigmata on St Francis and St Rita, and the others-such as sharing each others

pain. I would gladly suffer somebody's pain so they wouldn't suffer. As I have

mentioned to quadbravo, I haven't experienced to much severe pain yet.

I was taught that all this suffering IF we offer it to Jesus, brings us closer to him.

If I lessen my suffering, I feel as though I missed out on something beautiful.
