Red Flag is a multinational exercise over the desert of Nevada. Dozens of countries bring their weaponry to have a simulated war with the US players based out of Nellis AFB.

Thats definitely not a NATO bird. The red stripe on the tail signifies the maintenance unit at Tinker AFB.

I seem those NATO awacs's quite often. They used to land or patrol near Soesterberg AFB in Holland.... They have such an amazing whistle from the engine, it is so hard :D
