For the part on Boomer and Jessica: Boomer had a thing for bolting at jumps and Jessica was riding bareback the day she died and she fell off and Boomer rolled on her. She was crushed to death and it wasn't her fault or Boomer's fault. It was freak accident and it couldn't be helped. I don't know for sure how Boomer fell on her, but it happened and it's over.

My horse bolted & tried to jump a fence with an 8 foot drop on the other side. I steered her away at the last moment causing myself to be thrown into the ground from a flat gallop. She stumbled on me, stepping on my back and my head Crushing my helmet into three pieces. ( Fractured spine, broken jaw, concussion, sprains in my arms, and cuts & bruises.) It wasn't my horses fault, but I feel so lucky to be alive, RIP to the girls who didn't make it :( <3

wow....i just cried...this movie is increadibly touching...and all the equestrians in this movie are a great inspriation to continue riding but be cautious and take it day by day and not take it for granted. thank you for sharing...ill always miss you jess =[

I also knew jessica . But after 2 months me ,jessica, and my sister went out riding and my sister was riding her horse that was then jumpy that day. and when a car had passed by her horse got scared and ran in front of the car and both my sisters horse and her were killed :(

None of these horses can be blamed for these girls deaths. Horses are unpredictable animals, and while so many say "we all know this" ... obviously you dont. Horses are not tame regardless how trained they are. If anything, that jessica was stupid for jumping over an arena fence bareback without a helmet.
How can you call a passed person stupid? She was wearing a helmet according to her parents and she did not try to jump the arena fence on purpose. They think Boomer bolted and she used the fence to try to stop him but he jumped instead. Maybe you should go read her parents blog about what really happened.
i was put into hospital because of a horse and in the same lesson my friend was trodden on in the chest by the most bomb proof pony ever. luckly she had a body protector on and was ok.

That was an inspirational video. I cried during it. I'm so touched by your effort to remember all of these true horse girls. My mom almost died on a horse. Her old now retired horse stepped on a stick, spooked, and kicked her in the ribs and she broke five ribs and cut her liver. She was in the hospital for a week. I am definetly subscribing to u.
