Is it necessary to put on a primer before tinted moisturizer?

@bee445 i think so, only because TM can be very rich and i feel like it depends on your skin type .. i'm combo/oily in the summer, so i use a Primer to help it last longer since i'm more oily. In the winter, i'm combo/dry, so a primer isn't as necessary, but i use it anyway just to help it last longer throughout the day. :)

I just got the mac tinted moisturizer 2 weeks ago b/c the mac liquid is too heavy for texas. I like the Mac on better than any others I tried like clinique or philosophy's. I just went out to get the Sonia Kaskuk because of you and I got beige it was perfect. It did blend like a dream & used my f80 brush as well. Won't have to buy mac anymore. Thanks.

hey i was looking for something more simple because i don't need foundation and i hate that caked on look and i came across this, and i fell in love, so far I've decided on the SmashBox sheer focus tinted moisturizer because i cant find that Sonia Kashuk one you have :( have you tried that one? the Laura Mercier seems cool but i don't want to get it knowing there's something cheaper and just as good or maybe better!!! <3

i love this tinted mosturizer! :D it is the first one I've ever used & I apply w/ the SK flat top brush. There is now way I'm changing because I have oily acne prone skin and as long as I set it and use a little concealer then it works amazballingly

@jaymxoxo yeah you could, but i can't guarantee the same results. Both the Sonia Kashuk flat top brush and the Sigma F80 are synthetic but the bristles are very different. Sonia Kashuk's are much more dense and stiff, the Sigma F80 has a bit of a "fluffy" quality to it which makes blending and buffing in products super easy. :)

i get very oily regardless of what i use, but espcially since i wear sunscreen doing the spring/summer. i found that using a blotting sheet after moisturizing and then after applying foundation or tinted moisturizer but before setting powder really helps me from becoming a grease ball.

@missmalls oh most definitely you can use any powder you like, that's why i mentioned the ones i use to "set" it :) I only use a super thin layer of the BM Matte because since it's hotter now, i get a bit oily faster. You didn't see how much i really put on in the video since i didn't show you how much i actually shook out, but it was literally a sprinkle or two, not a full-on mineral foundation application. :)

@mkcjja lol, it's how my hair was cut the last time and how it grew out :) my cousin cut my hair at a "V" angle so now that it's growing out, it looks like razor sharp layers that cascade downward in an A-line bob :D the bangs grew out pretty nicely too! hehe .. i kinda like how at some angles, it looks short but when you see the back, it's super long! :) hehehe .. thanks for the compliment love <3
