Grace, you talk like Statham's stardom is some kind of mystery, or like 50 mil is some magic figure. Yet most of the movies you listed still made more at the box office than they cost. Also those were just for the US box office, and don't count grosses in other countries like back in England where he came from and is still very popular. Sounds like a bankable action star to me. Why WOULDN'T he still be working? Listening to you describe it, you'd think every movie he made was a total flop.

Action can be very well done, but if you're only there for the sped-up roundhouse kicks, slowed down bullets, and all the other cliches, what's the point?
