Lewis fought most of the tough fights that Tyson fought too, and is older than Tyson. Why did he win? Only because he is dedicated, and he fight not only for the money. Tyson in his fight against Lewis wasn't the least bit intense. Boxing experts were favoring him in the fight, most of them except Monte Cox who predicted a late round knockout. Why are you people so easily fooled by fighters who looked flashy beating fighters who can't fight back? Great fighters are great fighters, flashy or not!

To say Lewis would lose to a prime Tyson is ridiculous. Tyson is his prime beat down too many nobodies and washed out fighters. So much so, they have to lure out an old Larry Holmes who didn't even show up in shape for the fight and again, Tyson look great beating him up in four rounds. The 90's is supposed to be his time to prove his true potential, but he fucked up one time after another. Ever since he stuck with Don King, he seem to fight only for money. He lost his passion and heart...

@jqgatson No actually that counts for nothing, fighters age differently depending on whether they are a heavy hitter like George Foreman, a boxer like Ali, an in Fighter or and out fighter. Basically the best ageing boxer is one who fights from the outside who has relatively heavy punches and is a taller fighter so they don't have to bob and weave and wear out their joints. Also you look at their career to that point. It's pretty simply but not as simple as looking at an age.

How can you say, "Tyson in his prime owns Holyfield or Lewis," as if they have some age advantage, when Tyson is the youngest of the three. Tyson 1966, Lewis 1965 and Holyfield 1962. Lennox Lewis doesn't get the respect he deserves. His career record is 41-2-1. He fought from 1989 until 2003. I guess he looks "klass" in this video because he actually was one of the best fighters boxing has seen. He may not have very flashy but he was an extremely effecient fighter.

He usually beat people after their hardest fights or when they were no longer realistically competitive and some of his defenses were against guys 30 pounds lighter than him, inches shorter and he couldn't even knock them down in fights he dominated.

Size, strength, power, conditioning, confidence, speed....Lewis had it all.
