@bramgeelen I've been looking for it for ages, but haven't got lucky yet. the only thing I could figure out for myself was the introduction. part of it. F on the hand, F and A on the right hand, and then you roll it down and there you go.
@WebsiteGuySparky indeed. That MUST be the case. The only other explanation is if they didn't like the song.*voice deepens* and thats would be a problem
2 DISLIEKS!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Thats illegal. Your not allowed to dislike this song. Its just not right. If your one of the 2 people who diliked this, the police are coming. NOW!!!
DOES ANYONE KNOW THE CHORD PROGRESSION FOR THIS SONG?! PLEASE I NEED IT SOON :( I NEED TO MAKE UP TO MY GIRLFRIEND IF YOU COULD HELP OUT THAT COULD BE AMAZING THANKS!!!!!!!!
As much as I love the John Goodman and Billy Crystal, there's just something about hearing Randy Newman sing his own song that you just can't help but love.
I'm a huge Randy Newman fan, and I'm glad he finally won a long-deserved Oscar for this tune, but am I the one who noticed more than a passing resemblance between this tune and Hoagy Carmichael's "Rockin' Chair," written some 60 years before this. He should have won the Oscar for so many better, more original, more poignant and witty tunes before he won it for this. Kinda weird.
I have a friend whom I've been friends with since the third grade. We're first-years in college now, and we're basically like brothers despite being 800 miles apart. This song makes me think of him.
@jaralleras I noticed this, too. I really like both songs, so it doesn't bother me. Randy Newman is a huge jazz fan. I wouldn't doubt that the similarity is just a nod to Louis.
@freighter014 Because ToxicTurquoise454 is just expressing their opinion, which most people tend to agree with...o_O You might get a lot of thumbs up for your comment from the people who like this version better.
@dtluxaeterna WHAT? It's my opinion. What if I said "Ewww!" to you. Gosh! If you don't have anything nice to say don't speak a thing! Respect others opinions!
@dtluxaeterna I second that motion. What Disney has created in that could be considered a mortal sin unto man. Pretty much watch the Siskel and Ebert review of North and that pretty much sums up how I feel about their abomination to Newman's classic.
counting as in 'Sweet home Alabama' :D

I prefer this version to the version by Sulley and Mike. The other version is to humorous, while this one is more sincere and it's just beautiful.

Whoa the version from Mitchel Musso and Emily Osment is just ugly :( These Disneychannel things shouldn't even try to cover such a cute song!
cranc13 1 year ago 4
@cranc13 Or at least not turn jazz into pop. Sorry, Disney, you have to learn it doesn't work that way.
