He's absolutely right, I don't think anything Obama says will make any difference. More empty promises isn't change, Arabs will never fall for this type of rhetoric. However lets hope for the best but expect the worst, and also I agree the apartheid racist ethnocentric laws need to end.

quite the contrary to this interview the Arab states, people, analysts, commentators and leaders should be paying close attention and listening to every word. To do otherwise is to bury your head in the sand. It might feel good but its not going to make you actually safer or in a better position to be ignorant. If people in the Arab world want to be understood they should start with attempting to understand and appreciate the perspectives of others.

It is time for the Palestinians to return to the negotiating table and quit pretending there is any other legitimate solution. If the Palestinians prioritize and seek peace with their neighbors they must sit down and hash out their differences and make shared concessions. If not now when? Israel seeks a partner for peace and begged the Palestinians times and again to sit down and talk things out face to face. The Palestinians have walked away. If there will be peace it must start with a return.
