Yer I don't really post on there just browse, nice mx5s are getting very popular at the moment great little cars good fun I bet. So far I've done the clutch service it etc front and rear bumpers, new wheels buckets and harnesses new steering wheel and got a cage to go in and loads more got a bit carried away!

@robss07 Hi Rob, thats great to hear. I check the GTI6 forum every now and then to see if you have put anything on there but have not seen anything yet. Glad to hear that the car is going well. What have you done to it?

We have just got a Mk-1 MX-5 and watching this video again makes me want to give it another go but in the mx5!

There are videos of the car at Harewood and Scammonden on here aswell but Loton is probably my favourite.

It was! I stopped racing earlier this year but would love to do the odd one now! Especially at Loton.

this just a standard 6 ? thinking of doing this after i am home what would a high boost fall under ?

looks like fun a competition wheel and some left foot breaking would help me thinks keep the revs high

Pretty close to standard. I have a wheel to fit so thet'll go on soon.

Unfortunately you wouldnt really be able to compete in a high boost 6. The forced induction would most proably put it in a higher capactiy class (most competitions are 1400 - 2000 cc and more than 2000cc. And you can not race cars in a higher capacity class.
