Almost all bands change the way they sound over time but Cold always delivers great music. Every song that they have ever put out is amazing and I hope they keep doing it. Cold is my favorite rock band and I hope they never go away.

@ltd1000 : People really are zombies. Either that or they lie to themselves or are in denial. This album is such crap. It belongs on MTV or the local crap rock station. Witch, Serial Killer, Wasted Years, The Day Seattle Died, Suffocate, Don't Belong, Same Drug, Confession....and every other song on the first 3 releases completely eclipse this record. It seems like most bands that were popular in the late 90s had their time and now it's clearly over and people cant accept it...pathetic

I've been a COLD fan for years, and as a musician myself I totally respect creativity, and change as a band. But some of us fans also have the right to express our opinion regarding the new album. Honestly, I am not impressed with the new sound from COLD. It reminds me a lot of ADKOP (too mainstream), not a bad album but not the sound that distinguished COLD. 13 Ways will forever be one of the greatest albums in history and I only hope that one day they can put out an album like the old music!

I for one find that their albums have been a steady progression throughout their history, and this album is no different, only more consistent.

I have also been looking forward to their return, and they didn't disappoint whatsoever.

This is an incredible album that will undoubtedly go completely unnoticed. How's that for mainstream.

to all those old COLD fans, i've been listening to COLD since i was like 14 which was about 7-8 years ago i also hate changes like u, and why not? cold never had

nothing to improve, the band was perfect for my opinion atleast. but this album is

very very good although its different from the others, please don't comment badly

just because u hate changes, cause i know that you will love these songs also.

I don't think they sold out. I think this is Scooter's natural progression due to some of the tragic events in his life. His girlfriend and sister both had cancer, he had a baby die of SIDS, etc. Their sound going from 13 Ways to Superfiction I would say is a result of Scooter really embracing god (which you can see there's a biblical reference in most of the songs on this album).

Is it a better direction? Not particularly. I loved all of their albums, but this one's my least favorite.

I can't believe this is the same band that did unique, heavy, dark songs like Witch, Goodbye Cruel World, Serial Killer, Anti-Love song and so on. They are writing songs to try and get on the radio and be a pop band. Sell outs. Hopefully they sell a bunch of albums and get the hit song they have been trying to make since they put out Stupid Girl. What a shame what happened to a once edgy, unique, dark, heavy, poetic, brilliant band.. RIP COLD
