  • i have this exact same guitar bro, and its fantastic.

sorry to say, but it sounds alot better then what youtube videos show it :D

  • @galey69 Your totally right with both! ;)

    Greetings and rock on!

  • @snookerkingexe and jailbreak is such a great mal riff, as is shoot to thrill

  • Wich chords do u use?

  • @haif9 Main Riff is a hammered E than D and A and back to E, Prechorus is A and D than B and E and back to the main riff which is the Chorus (best played with open major chords)

  • @snookerkingexe thnx! ;)

  • was the recording from 1991 at donington castle its a wild guess

  • @Master13371 I took the recording from the '91 Live Album ... It could be the same like the donikton version but I guess it was recorded on another show ;)

  • GOOOOOOD man i suscribe it now :D And I have a question you know since it is the amplification the malcolm?? tell me thank you!!

  • @gonchito2000 HEyho dude! Malcolm uses Marshall Super Lead Plexi 1959 Amplifiers and also SuperBass100 and JTM100 MArshall Amps ;)

    Greetings!

  • @snookerkingexe thank you very much!

  • @snookerkingexe live he used also Wizard amps :)

  • Yeaaaaaaaaahhh!! AC/DC ROCKS my friends.

    Greetings!

  • me likes ur gretsch!^^ XD electromatic? O_O

  • @WhoTheRollingBeatles Yup, the G5245T ;) Greetings!

  • you rock!

  • You're pretty good dude. I just saw them live and been in an AC/DC mode since then. At 45 this was my first time seeing them. It's amazing how simple their songs are, but it's how they tie those harmonies together with Malcom's and Angus's guitar. I say they are the Lennon/McCartney of heavy music.

  • amazing sound mate. 10/10. can you make a shot down in flames cover with your gretsch

  • @Master13371 No problem! =) I could do that in the next days ;)

    Greetings!

  • bei meinem video währe die live version besser gewesen

  • cool man. the live version is pretty good

  • Pause at 4:44

  • u look like that old bassisst for ac dc

  • the 1 bit that i wanted to lern the camer moved lol

  • Irgendwie fehlt hier ein bisschen der fette Arsch eines Marshall sounds aber sonst. hört sich iwie nach vox an. donnington sound is eigentlich sehr geil für den malcom part. sehr gut.

  • he's like a baby malcolm young:D

  • comme see my video !! :D

  • Nice Gretsh!!

  • Yeeeesss! Nice job man.

  • that great gretsch sound!

  • NICE!!!!

  • 11/11 you look like malcolm too man, fuckin awesome cover best one on youtube

  • you have wicked cool hair! take it from me....middle aged bald guy!

  • @me2gap lol

  • dude you rock great cover man!

  • where you found those backing tracks? Merry Christmas !

  • You can make them by yourself: Just delete the left stereo-channel to hear just angus or the right to hear just Malcolm ;)

  • Is that the expensive $2200 Gretsch Double Jet with the Synchromatic pickups or the $600 model with Electromatic pickups? Even if it is the $600 model, it still has good AC/DC tone and I might have to get one.

  • @LesPaulCustom79 Thank you! It's the 600$ one with the Gretsch Mini Humbuckers. But I'll put some Filtertrons in it in the next time ;)

    Greetings!

  • excellent!!

  • Yeah, good choice of guitar man!! Malcolm's my hero too! Keep rockin!!

  • you play an awsome malcolm young i have a 1979 gibson sg

  • wohoo! a real 79' ?! maan thats cool! A standard I think? What an awesome guitar! ... In the future I want to have a SG Standard too =)

  • best song you did

  • Thank you! =)

  • very nice

  • Rock on Bro!!Your my fucking hero, would love to have a Gretsch!!

  • Too fizzy! Get the gain out of your sound....listen to Malcolm's sound...soooo clean. Difficult to achieve with those Gretsch humbuckers in that guitar. I bought one of those, stripped it, varnished it, then bough & fitted a filtertron pick up & it's very close now to Mal's sound.

  • ya i know what u mean

malcolms guitar only had one bridge pickup, and he put socks in the empty hole of the other to have that hollow sound...

  • good dancin!!!!!!!!!!

  • People who are playing solo's usually think that rhythm is easy to play, but i think it's hard be great rhythm-guitarist. I play both of them.

  • hey man you're great PROPS lol you would be a great rhythm guitarist

  • haha you look like malcom mann!!

  • Brian sings this really good

  • Hey mate, we have the same guitar. Good job!

    Greetings!

  • Thanks

  • nice dance..

  • Cool

  • why do you think so?

  • Sorry about that comment, there was something wrong with my audio system yesterday, but I didn't knew that when I was watching your video. Sorry.

  • no problem^^

  • I can't do anything about the fact that my audio system was broken, so just shut up.

  • very good job- rhythm and bass is where it's at!

  • the trick to the Malcolm sound is to turn down most of the c ontour, and put your gain on 3. i got that sound out of a piece of crap jay turser guitar, think of how that gretsch would sond.

  • Sonds interesting! I'm gonna try that on the Marshall in the band-practice-room on sunday ;)

    Thank you ;)

  • It's boogie time..

    5**

  • haha^^ Thank you!

I LOVE your collab with Phil! Simply great!!!

  • Thank you!

  • yeh thats a pretty similar setup to what i have on my ad30vt and Epiphone studio firebird, maybe dropping all the bass out. if i feel like it that is

  • bass 10 o clock

    middle 4 o clock

    treble 2 o clock

    gain 1 clock

    AC30TB Amp Modell ;)

  • YOU ROCK!

  • OMFG!!! Frickin' LOVE yor guitar!!! I NEED ONE!

but what chord are u playing after the A is it a D

  • strum the 3 Bass-Strings and hammer on the E, than strum the E again, Than D, A and than again hammer on E ... There are a lot of Palm Mutes in there, hope you get it right ;)

  • sweet guitar! im gonna try to find a lefty version. oh btw, nice cover.

  • oh ... I think thats gonna to be VERY hard ... But you could buy the righthand version and customize it to a lefthand ;) Jimi Hendrix style ;) xD

  • great job what kind of amp do you use

  • Its the VOX AD 15 VT

  • i have a peavy 105 backstage and a peavy rage

  • ya should o played the bon version..and whats the story..we need more raw on that..i cant describe that ''wirey'' sound?

  • he did play on the bon version with an Sg

  • nice guitar dude, is that the malcolm sig.? good job on the song as well

  • Thank you!^^ Its "just" the Electromatic version, The G5245T ;) But its also a gr8 Instrument!

  • Frage: welche pickup spielste? hals, brücke oder beide?

  • Great one, but do you take your amp/pedals/boxes straight into your computer?

  • No, I record the Sound directly with a veeeeeery cheap mic :D so no surprise if it sounds quite strange :D

  • hi you know rory gallagher?

  • Not before your post^^ No I found some information on wikipedia ;)

  • cool lol

  • Rory Gallagher - wonderful. :)

  • yeah he is a great guitar player and person rip'95

  • We're lucky he left behind a huge body of work, he was so hard-working and prolific, so there's lots of records and videos. :) He was an amazing player and a great guy, for sure.

  • Is your head hurting after headbuting yourself! lol Did you get the vid I sent you of Brian Stezer and his Gretsch?

  • o.0 now there was no vid in my inbox :( but if you want to send it again, it would be gr8, I would like to see it^^ Thank you!

  • I just shared 3 of them with you.

  • nice tight rhythm

  • Now I know I commented on this one, anyway, Snooker, now that's what I am talking about, good tone! Did you repost this? I know someone asked about this being Donnington?

    Cheers! 5*

  • sorry, what do you mean with reposting it? (I didnt understand =( ) ... I could post a vid of former AC/DC tunes and try to get the "old" Malcolm tune if that is what you mean ;) ... anyway thank you!! ;)

  • No I meant did you put this one of jailbreak up twice? I thought someone asked you if this was from Donnington? No biggie, I'll resend the video!

  • I've put up a Jailbreak cover (album version) some months ago (should be in my vids ;)) ... these times with SG ;) I think Toris93 has this one in mind ^^

  • another great one!, only one thing, on this conecert ( its donnington isnt it?) the band used a kinda destorted sound so your guitar kinda gets left out lol! would love to hear it on an another album or a backing track. just my opinion!

  • youre right, no problem^^

  • Woohoo, tight rythm, great sound!

  • Rockin!! Tight rythm mate!

    5*
