I first saw Bailey at the Pagoda Hotel in Hawaii in the 80's. He came out in those little black "garland" pedal-pushers and a short sequined jacket and WAS Garland. I was utterly transfixed. time stood still. I have followed his career and he just gets better but Garland is still the ne plus ultra
I had the honor of seeing Mr. Jim Bailey as Judy Garland playing at the Palace in Canton on January 31, 2009. I am forever a Jim Bailey fan now. I thank the Honorable Mr. Charles Triplett for introducing me to One Ms. Judy Garland. I fell in love with her music and her persona. I had the honor of meeting Ms. Lorna Luft in March of 2007 with Mr. Triplett. She was in Bristol TN performing her show Songs My Mother Taught Me. A wonderful performance as well. I wish I could have seen Judy.
This entertainer is the true definition of a "Star", one of a kind!!! Our new wanna be pop singers have no idea what it means to be a true performer with great talent.
I think he needs to make an on tour movie and release it for public purchase. He is an amazing talent-he sings , pitch perfect and every nuance is Judy. A perfect entertainer-I could view him forever.
Jim, this is one of my favorite performances of yours and Judy's. She was , as always, truly holding your hand that day. I just am in awe. Please bring us more. A true fan, William
We would love Jim to sing an elaboration of the "Palace Montage" song and do the full version of "Some Of These Days" He would be SO spectacular with it!
The Olympics??? Is there any place that Jim Bailey incapable of capturing our hearts??? Obviously not. This man needs to be recognized & applauded for still performing & throwing his all at an audience.
I saw Jim Bailey "live" at the London Palladium some years ago and was most impressed with his accurate portrayals of Judy and Barbra Streisand. This video is excellent. More please.
!! LOVE IT !!
