    thank you !!!!

  • @bibouclem book link is in description

  • Muy bien, maravilloso

  • O.O i must learn this, i forgot how beautiful this song was.

  • Thank you so much!

  • I want to learn how to play....just because of the Pride and Prejudice Soundtrack. Simply lovely my dear! Beautiful!

  • @SaraDottera with the pedal, all you do is hold down the pedal on the far right, and you do quick breaks in between measures when you aren't holding out a note. this helps the music to kind of flow together, and make it really pretty sounding.

  • It looks like a pianoforte, as in the movie, but It isn't, is it?

  • @Cochuscanal it is a yamaha U1

  • Strangely Beethoven and Jane Austen share the same birthdate 16th December. Jane would often get up and make breakfast at 9am and then practice the pianoforte until lunchtime.

  • omg why I cant play piano!!

  • @bbdhrggl I definitely plan on reading music, I've already started and know the music staff for treble and bass clef. I'll for sure check out your videos too :)

  • You play so beautifully! I've wanted to play piano for a long time and I think I've got my parents convinced to get a digital one to start with :) I realize I can't jump right into this song but this question goes with other tutorials too: is the c on the bottom of your piano saying that the key above is the central c key?

Anyways, thanks for all your tutorials, hopefully I'll be able to be at this level someday :)

  • @amberhunter317 thank you. yes, that sticker denotes the central C key. The camera shifts to the extreme left or right in some tutorials, so that label makes clear where my hands are playing. congratulations on your digital and good luck with learning. Hope you plan to read music. See my website for links to 3 intuitive lessons. :)

  • rushing but good

  • your hands are scary to look at....not very attractive :P anyway, pretty good playing..piano is out of tune?!?!

  • @nutmeg2111 pan and praise and pan = pan?

  • where do you got the music sheet? tell me the link please

  • @fesanur info will be on the webpage (video description) if i know the source

  • what grade is this piece?

  • @lolly1941 my level 7 (in video description) means one with 7 yrs of experience should be able to learn this without much difficulty

  • @bbdhrggl oh i should be fine then! thanks

  • How Is this suppose to be a tutorial???

  • @caarlah always read my video descriptions. before you do however, know that this tutorials is for those who read music

  • @bbdhrggl I guess I only have 5 years of experience.... ;) It did help tho

  • @bbdhrggl oh I do but for some reason this one didn't show a description.

  • @theofficialkirstif that's strange, i looked after you asked, and it was there. anyhow, i gave it a level 7.

  • What level is this? Good job by the way.

  • @theofficialkirstif thanks. pls read my video descriptions.

  • I play this song also and I noticed something didn't sound right when i played it, I watched the tutorial and it helped so much! Thanks so much!

  • how do i find out my piano level? because you always describe the single songs with level stages... :)

  • @robbidobbi94 if you can sightread the entire piece without too much difficulty, then it is the right level for you :)

  • I can't believe I just now discovered you. I am SO subbing... beautiful cover by the way..

  • i love the 1800-century so much.... sometimes i want to live in that time so much !

  • Could you explain to me the music elements in "Dawn" like would the song be considered a ostinato b/c melodic is repeated persistently?

  • @Starz1999 sorry, I do not know

  • I cant watch this video!!!! The hand freak me out to much!!!!

  • HERMOSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • oh, it is a tutorial. I believe that you must have criticized by your teacher that you have no strength enough on your fingers. Besides, there are broken gaps between a phrase on your right hand. Or maybe it is because the purpose of this play is a clear show on the notes because it is a tutorial. No big deal. I have also made these mistakes when I learned the piano.

  • Beautiful..I don't know how to describe

  • i love watching people play this song, it reminds me of the spider mating ritual.

  • I'm learning to play this song, but I have trouble with the beginning where its three against two. Anyone tips how to practice that?

  • @chelieeeeeee i just made two tutorials on that

  • Dear Jane,

Thank you for giving me the possibility to check whether I'm playing the right way. Since my parents don't want to pay my teacher anymore, I try to learn and improve my skills by myself.

Under your videos you write a level. Which is the highest to reach? 10?

    Greetings from germany.

  • @Poisy81 my level scale is a "guesstimate" that corresponds to the number of years one has been (seriously) playing the piano. I stopped the scale at 10, for most non-professionals approach a plateau by then. Try to fit in 15 min/day of scales and arpeggios practice.

  • @bbdhrggl thank you very much for the fast answer!

  • YOU ARE BRILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLIANT XXX

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU XXX

  • thanks very much for ur videos they're very helpful plzzzzz keep posting :)

  • I play piano (not as well as you), and I am really interested in learning how to play this. The thing is, I noticed that the notes in the left and right hand tend to play every other (if that makes sense). I was wondering if you had any tips or addvice on how to learn this. I always seem to have a problem knowing how to start of learning a tough song using sheet music. Thanks! :)

  • @TheNicklepickle do you mean when the LH is over the RH? to learn any piece, I think the key is to play as slowly as possible. with practice, speed will come naturally. good luck.

  • Beautiful playing! I'm learning this now and its been very helpful tl have this to watch justo so I can make sure my rythms are right and figure out some of the fingering (because my sheet music doesnt have any written in). The one part i find hard is at the beginning of the peice, measures 9-16 where its three agaisnst two.

  • Do you play the song Mrs Darcy? Watching it might help since i do not have the notes.

  • @LovesTheLord15 yes, I did that one also. Best way to find my tutorials is to click the video description link.

  • Thanks so much for slowing it way down. I find if I can work out the fingering and practice for months, I eventually learn the piece. And, I really love this score.

  • i love this piece i also play it on the piano

  • I am feeling so damn jealous now >:|

  • I am really sorry to dampen the good comments, however, you do look very advanced, but I am not sure weather your hand placement is correct. I am so sorry but on my sheet music it says differently. Maybe mine is wrong?

  • @twinkletoejam do you mean fingering? everyone has different fingering. For example, check different well-known editions of a chopin waltz. you must choose what best suits your hand structure :)

  • @twinkletoejam yes some sheet music tells you which fingers to use but its what ever suit. For example my friends is very skilled on the piano but some of the fingerings don't work for her because she has very small hands. while I on the other hand have very long fingers and sometimes I need to switch the fingering around. Cool thing about piano is you don't need to get it perfect and people understand.

  • I'm 13 and shall be learning this very soon! It is a little below my level, but I'm excited! Thank you for this video!

  • Just listening to you play makes me all happy inside. :D You are amazing! I wish one day i might be able to play as well as you. haha (that might take a while) I was wondering, have you done "Charlie Brown Christmas song"? I believe I looked through your videos and couldn't find it.

Well, thanks anyways. Keep posting!!! :)

  • is it possible to do any of the songs that u have from pride n prejucide on a 45 key keyboard?

  • i wish it was a bit closer to the screen haha but even still this has helped so much, and you play it so beautifully well done :)

  • any have sheet music!!? I looove this song its soo beautiful and I'd really love to play it at school :D?

  • You're so clever. I'll try to study this piece but my keyboard has only few keys. Not enough to play this song on it. :|

  • bad playing???? you played perfectly, you should see my playing! but i have finally managed to play liz on top of the world and now i am learning dawn but i dont have piano lessons so i was just wondering out of interest what grade those two songs would be played at because people kkep asking me what grade i am but as i dont do grades i cant even give them a rough idea. Thanks and great playing :)

  • can you give me the sheet music please :)

  • @Jessywood sorry, i do not give sheet music

  • @bbdhrggl ouh ok :)

  • @Jessywood lol.. quit bothering her with the sheets, just google for "dawn pride and prejudice sheet music'

    and voila .. :)

  • @Jessywood go to music notes.com it costs about 5 bucks and it prints right off. or i bet ur local music store will have it.

  • I have a keyboard and I have never actually taken piano lessons. So I tried to play this by ear and I had to cross my hands and I assumed that I had hot it wrong because one of my friends said that you are not supposed to cross your fingers or hand.... When After watching this video, I feel really proud LOL

LOVELY SONG AND LOVELY STORY AND LOVELY MOVIE :)

  • damn! I NEED a few keys more, my piano hasn't enough keys for playing this song ): even you play it soo well, I envy you so

  • @chubieta Yes, as we advance, not having 88-keys will frustrate. Starting saving for one? good luck.

  • awesome

  • wow. its so beautiful.

  • OMG! You are amazing! How long have you been playing the piano? I would love to play this song but i realized i have too small keyboard. Keep up the good work.

  • @RaNiGrL26 I took serious lessons from age 12 to 17. Used to play better then. That means if you keep at it (I didn't), you can do better than I. :)

  • @bbdhrggl Thanks. I hope to do as well as you.

  • This is brilliant! I've started learning this but I'm finding it realy dificult to synchronize both hands even though I play grade 5... Which grade would you say this is?

  • @moyemore This is about grade 8.

  • @ady1009 Hola, my channel consists only of piano tutorials.

Did you read this goes with the SLOW tutorial?

    Prerequisite: learn to read music

  • Great video... you play beautifully!

  • Yea i bought the book to! but i can't read the nots at all lol, thanks a lot for this tutorial!

  • @Sojaev Try to follow a bit each day. It'll start to soak in. :)

  • Wow! I bought the solo book 2 years ago and I had a little trouble playing few of the notes, but I had no idea there was a tutorial since now!

    Thank you so much!

  • @VigVix That's good. :)

Georgiana and Darcy's Letter have since been requested.

  • @bbdhrggl I can't thank you enough :)

  • you are talented.

    This is amazing.

I'm learning it now, just got up to where the really good bit starts by 0.51,

really enjoying it, it's such a joy to play such a beautiful piece of music, and you do it so well. Thanks a lot lovely :) xx

  • Great song!!!! thanks for the tutorial both of them thqyre awesome!!

It was hard to learn it but totally worth it

Do you have the piano sheets??

  • @bep01bop02 Sorry, I don't send out sheetmusic.

  • grrrrr, i still cant get it :(

is there any chance you could do another tutorial please??

its fine if you cant i know you have two, im just too silly to get it :S:S

  • @123imjadieb Sorry, I'm really confused today. I'm answering messages w/o thinking first. Apparently you've found the slow version too fast. This is an advanced piece, so don't be hard on yourself. Did you try Liz On Top of the World? That is nice, and much easier. Skipping levels causes unneeded frustration, which in turn, impedes the learning process. I also recommend learning the two Secret Garden songs. These are easier and beautiful.

  • @bbdhrggl oh well thank you :) and no its not i found it to fast, jsut cant grasp it lol, i should really think of getting lessons :/ taught myself for two years, and yes im okaii, but i want to be better, because this peice, is beautiful and i would love to be able to play it xx

  • THAnk you so much! for creating a tutorial! you are the best!!!!

  • DAMN U AWESOMEEEEEEE !!!

  • I envy you. That was amazing!

  • I'll probably never be able to play this, but thank you SO FREAKIN' MUCH for doing this!

I've been searching for a Tutorial for this song for so long, I never thought I'd actually find one ^^

    So thanks :D

I guess I'll just have to keep trying to play it, bit by bits and one hand at a time while continuing to learn how to play piano in general :D

  • Merci. Thank you so much for this tutorial.

  • très beau <3!

  • Finally! Thank you so much! :D

  • thanks SO much for putting a tutorial! :D

  • Thank you!

  • Where have you been all my YouTube tutorial searching life????!!!!
