@Lulu4Him I have read the whole chapter of Gen. 6 many times. The "sons of God" were angelic beings. In the book of Job, angels are called "sons of God" 3 times, Job 1:6, 2:1, 38:7. In the Greek Septuagint, Gen. 6 has it "angels of God" in the Greek, and the book of Enoch, it talks about angels called "watchers" who mated with earth women. The early church leaders knew no other interpretation for the "sons of God" in Gen. 6 for the first 4 hundred years.

There are those who believe (and i've listened to it here on youtube too) that the Nephilim are from the mingling of Seth Seed's and Cain (Seth's sons marrying Cain's daughters). This idea of the 2 lineages producing giants didn't set well with me and that is the reason I started studying about this.

No, satan is not considered a son of God, you've misunderstood the meaning. satan is a created being, a fallen angel. Also, The son's of God were decedents of Able, who were true Christians who kept the Commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. The daughter's of men were the decedents of Seth, they were idol-worshipers; non-christians. The decedents of Able did not marry with the decedents of Seth because fear of losing their faith, which is exactly what happened.

@Lulu4Him I have read the whole chapter of Gen. 6 many times. The "sons of God" were angelic beings. In the book of Job, angels are called "sons of God" 3 times, Job 1:6, 2:1, 38:7. In the Greek Septuagint, Gen. 6 has it "angels of God" in the Greek, and the book of Enoch, it talks about angels called "watchers" who mated with earth women. The early church leaders knew no other interpretation for the "sons of God" in Gen. 6 for the first 4 hundred years.

Put another way, if you knew for a fact everything your child would do in their life before they are born, and they turn out evil, would you create them anyway. Would you tell them they have freewill to change something that is now set in stone by being known ? It makes no sense. All knowing + freewill = Oxymoron.

In it you will also find many helpful tips on how to stay out of satan's way while you are here. If you don't like the Bible, try reading "Pilgrim's Progress". No freewill means there would no such thing as sin, and therefore no point in a blood sacrifice to forgive it. There could only be predestination. Sin would not exist.
You can't have it both ways, we either have an all knowing diety, OR we have freewill. They are both opposing absolutes. They CANNOT coexist.

There are those who believe (and i've listened to it here on youtube too) that the Nephilim are from the mingling of Seth Seed's and Cain (Seth's sons marrying Cain's daughters).
