Exactly. Especially the rejecting parents part. As a kid I was never able to finish a sentence, without getting cut short or being talked over and the point of what I was gets missed....it would make feel intimidated....may that's not the right word, but I would feel something along those lines. Being an analytical thoughtful and insightful person with depth stuck in a society of mediocre drones who are nothing but liars, hypocrites and just plain insane on some level. Ppl are weird. lol
Intelligent people that choose to go off the norm do not really offer any services to anyone directly therefore they dont make much money...by contrast a pimp offers a lot of services therefore can make alot of money and appear successful.
You lost me when your babbling became heavily bias and opinionated man. Your explanation is very narrow and focused on your view point, instead of open mindedness and logic.
Right and Wrong. Some may feel that that question MUST have been answered in Ancient times, therefore why question established right and wrong. Right and wrong changes over time. How can one tell someone what is right and wrong, we all think differently. Mathmatics has right and wrong, but applying that to life has infinite possibilites.
great video. It's nice to see people I can relate with. Being a philosophical minded kid growing up with parents who care only about status, wealth, and other materialistic things is not a great deal of fun.
I know a guy Who used to think alot but his flow of toughts were all based on bullshit...Then he realised it was a lie, was in shock for a couple of years and now he can't think but can tell what is lies and what is true...but he doesn't think too much...beer
Why is the world based on a lie? Why is it not built on truth and virtue...why has this not been the mode of operation of the human race?
Why is the vanity of the self so attached to the fantasy of the narcissist? These are the questions I have long contemplated in my own life. I was that child you speak. Forever debased, undermined, 'brought down a peg or two' for the good of the mediocre.
Why is not truth held above all as pride, not shamed. I still find these questions unanswered. Help me.
I am headed there right now. As well I am sharing your series on Statism being dead with as many as I can get to listen. Excellent work, profoundly enlightening, if not a bit nauseating.
As a Truthsayer(seeker) my entire life, I understand your struggle. The acceptance of the truth in its entirety is still even hard for me to digest. I'm glad to have stumbled upon such a wise and noble sage.
Off to educate myself some more.
I look forward to future dialogue with you. Keep up the excellent work.
I often times find myself in that very same situation and it's very frustrating to say the least. At first I thought it was just me, I soon came to realize that this was not at all the case. However, that point is mute for it is my belief that you already know that it has nothing to do with you.
It is a good thing we have this medium where we can both reach out across the void to others who share our plight and who actually understand and my advice to you is that you do just that my friend.
oh my.. another me! Absent any visual similarities however how we think, (including our similar tendency to go on and on without immediately moving on as I have just made apparent) I feel, is very similar. That said, it's then obvious and should go without saying.. however, I'm still going to say it.. "I agree with your assesment as well as your overall conclusions regarding society in general 110%" There's just not enough objectivity in the world! See what I mean? Exactly alike!
I think the problem that is the case now is that thinking for yourself is hard nowadays for 2 reasons:
if you want to do things on a professional level it's that often some absolute maximum is 'found' and taught. For example: all formula 1 drivers drive almost the same. Since this is a certainty money and attention goes to the known things and is inflexible for curiosity
Almost everyone can understand the shallow things and therefore being good in being shallow makes it easy in personal life.
The awful part about it is you cant just go around asking random people what they think is going to happen pick one of thouse answers at random and take it as advice. But in actuality you would be just as good off over all doing that in the long run as compaired to sticking with one persons advice. So the problem is not people hate philosophy its more that people cant accept that the universe is so random that its not important what advice you get its important how much faith you put into it.
And it turns out the people who say there gona do something to someone else based on some reasoning with limited factors involved can end up looking smart lol. So then you get a person who made a good choice because they predicted the output that happens, and they do it several times in a row now they are rich and smart. So then they get put into a situation where the factors they choose to look at dont work for the problem... And then u have people who took for granted they were smart fail.
I think this is the greatest fail video I have watched. Even better then the lady that drives into a post three times. But anyhow I think what you say is true and I dont see it really ever changing. The problem is inorder to do something that benefits you or who ever you have to take into account factors and try to figure out the result before you do it. But in actuality the factors are unlimited. So your force to make a choice with limited knowledge.
But if you have read frege on this question, you will know the act of assertion is itself a crucial important part of the validity of an argument, in LOGIC!
And regarding success, yes, there are many kinds of success, I belive different people have different goals and the achievement of such goals can be considered success (personal), or happiness. That is, I belive, the correct meaning of success. I don't think you can define it as something objective or general. General success would be, I guess, personal realization or happiness.
the reason why some very intelligent people fail sometimes is because they are nice. Where as some other people who may be just as intelligent, or as intelligent, are not.
Where did you get the idea that jesus said that "unbelievers should be killed"? I would love you to prove that to me by reciting the quote. It is simply untrue Stefbot.

do you not think that when Jesus said that we should love our enemies.... we humans should find the real answer to all our problems. And i do mean ALL of our problems if one is wise enough to foresee the consequences of such a version of reality.
I can almost hear the willfully ignorant crowds booing you. I wonder if thinking skills are more important than being able to expose fakers. I put much blame on my parents for being completely unprepared and incapable of nurturing a quality rational mind, while my brother blindly loves our mother and hates our father.
"In the same way as you would not like to take out your appendix through your ass... I'm assuming".
WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO ASSUME!?!??!
