I hate this movie. All the actors were completely wrong. Annabeth is BLONDE. The cabins in the movie DON'T EVEN LOOK LIKE CABINS. And what about the whole bathroom scene where Clarrise gets doused in toilet water? What about Clarrise AT ALL? They didn't even include her in the movie! And they don't even include the part where Annabeth and Percy have to go on the amusement park ride! I am really confused as to why Rick Riordan let them change and mess up the movie this much. Oh, and by the way.

When Percy is in the pool holding his breath, that's WRONG too. Just because he is a Son of Poseidon doesn't mean he can hold his breath longer underwater. Oh, and Grover isn't a "ladies man". He is awkward, pimply, and not at all as confident in the first book as they portray him in the movie.

I understand that for true fans it'll always be an issue, but why bother stating things like "book is way better", well of course it is. The book has issues like the more you write the more ink and paper you'll be using, whereas the movie has issues with budget, running time, creating the scenery, CGI, paying for the cast, so of course it's going to be less than accurate. I understand being disappointed in the movie but come on, there's a HUGE difference between this and last airbender.

yeah i agree with you. I'm italian and i read the italian version of the book and when i went and saw the film months later i thought the book has been translated in wrong way but...
