As for the AIDS crisis. It is FACT that our own government has introduced "experiments" into unassuming vaccines. If you look at declassified documents which are available to the public, this is nothing new. Henry Kissinger wrote about population control and incentives for doing so in the 70s. Jesus loved, yet he spoke truth. There is much proof that our government was involved with AIDS. Governments are always doing things wrong at the disadvantage of the poor. Should we pray for our leaders? Yes. But there is nothing wrong with seeking truth, and if Wright feels strongly about his beliefs in distrusting our government, which are justifiable, then Amen. Are we to love those who love and embrace evil—or are we to speak truth as Christ our Lord against injustice?

As for the AIDS crisis. It is FACT that our own government has introduced "experiments" into unassuming vaccines. If you look at declassified documents which are available to the public, this is nothing new. Henry Kissinger wrote about population control and incentives for doing so in the 70s. Some places in Africa slavery is still flourishing, particularly sex slavery, which is alive and well! If slaves do not cooperate they are punished by mutilation. In ancient times all ethnic groups were subjected to slavery. It is not a "white people" only habit, but was practiced by all human creatures around the Globe. Don't dwell on it, especially don't try to assign to only one particular race the practice which was pursued by all, on every conceivable place on Earth.

THe slavery era was only the beginning. Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation in 1865, but that didnt END the deplorable treatement of black AMERICANS. From the JIM crowe laws until 1964 blacks werent allowed to vote. Their schools were shitty. THey were "redlined" in 50's meanining mortgage firms denied them home loans because of color.This meant they could build wealth. Poverty is passed down just as wealth is. Besides a lot of older blacks that went through this are still alive today

The Jews had no control over the German government that hearded them into concentration camps, neither did the blacks when they were forced into poverty. Africa is one of the riches continents on earth including the knowledge of it's people. Did you know that 80% of the patents were created by blacks but blacks couldn't own patents until around the 1960s. That's a little more than playing victum.

What police reports? Statistics show that blacks commit far more crimes than whites, particularly black on white crime when compared to white on black crime. Thus, racial profiling for certain crimes isn't inherently racist but rather a proper method of using characteristics that, for whatever reason, are related to higher incidence of crime as a means of catching criminals.
Can you honestly say that you've had a police officer harass you for no good reason at any point in the last 10 years?

As a black man, I don't believe that white people are responsible for all of the problems that we face in America, but the system is STILL very unfair and unfortunately you will never know b/c as a white person, you still have certain privalages that we have yet to know. I was pulled over last year by the same officer 3 times for minor reasons (tinted windows, license plate cover, etc) and I had to threaten him w/harrasement!!!

Well, (1) my father fought in Korea, (2) my husband is in the Air Force (active and reserve) and is a veteran of this unjust war, (3) I spent days collecting donated goods and shipping them to 9/11 rescue workers after the attacks, (4)I teach citizens how to get involved in local government decisions, to name a few. Patriotism is more than what you wear in a lapel pin.

Part of it is that as a gay man I have seen discrimination and hatred in my life. Don't get me wrong, I am in no way saying that the bigotry I faced is equivalent to that experienced by the black community. But it gives me some reference point to imagine. As a child, I was very effeminate. I was teased relentlessly and even kicked down a flight of steps. I didn't even know I was effeminate, but I was. So I can only imagine what it is like to be hated because of the color of your skin.
