However, since we don't know the facts, it could be that the guy in the crowd was a great fan of Morrissey's and was very drunk and shout "Fuck you" just once. In this instance, I feel sorry for the guy to get thrown out by a man he greatly admires.

After personally witnessing the Liverpool Echo Arena gig fiasco of which I initially supported Morrissey's actions, I am somewhat dissappointed that he demanded the "F@#K You" heckler exit the venue without first giving due consideration to the reason he gave in his defence? Don't try to excuse him. There is plenty of good music out there it just isn't always in the charts. I went to see the Decemberists and they are great just not completely mainstream.
