I am in serious need of help now. I fixed my error of recording in .mp4 and recorded in .m2ts for the video. Mind you I'm using the normal version of the PVR, but I don't think that makes much of a difference as far as hardware goes. When I import the video file my Vegas Pro 10 freezes up and crashes. Anyone have a remedy for this???

I have a problem with videos that are imported into Sony Vegas Pro 10 that were taken from the xbox through my Hauppauge HD PVR. The preview window in Sony Vegas Pro 10 only shows the top left corner of the clips and I can't match the settings in the project to the clip's settings. Anyone have some sort of solution to this problem? It's a real kink in the works for me.

@SuperGoldensquirrel The new HD PVR drivers have a bug that crashes vegas when you import recorded footage. Search up something along the lines of "How to fix HD PVR sony vegas problem" You need to find a video that supplies the old drivers for total media. Once you find the video uninstall your total media extreme through the control panel and download the old drivers. (You'll need your disk to do so) Once that is done it should work. (All footage recorded with old drivers will still be broken)

I have a problem, I have installed the software and then I began to record. It worked great for about five minutes then my input resolution changed from 1920 x 1080 to 720 x 480 and my capture screen turned black. When I try to record it says capture failed. What do I do? Please help.

@LiquidMoose8 I got the same issue here dude, I THINK the issue is that we have Sony Vegas Pro 11 versions and in the desc. Wepeeler is suggesting to use 9.0C pretty highly... I'm going to try this sometime today and come back and let you know if it fixed my issue... But also in the mean time...

Does it matter whether your laptop can handle the stream? My GFX is a Radeon 4570 + i have a 2.00ghz dualcore cpu, it'll be sending the files to an external hard drive so its not a matter of space
