at every turn this man amazes and surprises me, sure can't hit some notes on the upper register, but i don't see any other performers just sharing like this....
Wow big surprise 20 years of screeching like Frank Black changes your voice. Plus the fact he's almost double the age he was then. Just appreciate the fact a legend of his caliber is willing to do a small acoustic performance on a little street corner to 100 people. Great man.

Sorry but he has fallen off! I used to have recordings from '92 where he did some European dates doing only Pixies acoustic songs. That was the absolute best, he sang perfect. I have looked at numerous "recent" F.B acoustic performances and now he sings them all LAME! He seems so bored. It's almost lounge music now. Not thrilling or exciting, just lame. Did he forget how the song goes? Nobody would have cared about the Pixies had he been giving us this half-hearted routine. SERIOUSLY!
