I loved this movie. Mainly because it didn't need to be very in-depth since it was made to add to the Avengers movie. For a shallow bit of fun, it was excellent. It you were expecting more, then you didn't walk into the movie with the correct mind.
"Thor" was a lot of fun. Really entertaining. Almost like the first Iron Man movie but without the depth, subtlety, charm, character development, good acting and believable effects. In other words, it sucked. But man, was it fun. (^_^)
I just KNOW that somewhere, somewhere in this Rifftrax is,if not the actual joke itself, then some variation on Robin Williams' "Thor?Oh,jutht a little.".

thor was a bad film, and like almost with any other bad film , a riff goes spot on upon it. 2012 is a strong contender, in my mind, for a future riff.

I disliked Thor, so I'm not defending the film, but Jesus, this is lame shit. They used to be funny, but it's been quite some time since that was the case.
Ved Tor og Odin! Talk about Teal and Orange. I sincerly wish I'd never read about the use of digital color grading.. Seriously, it's extremely off-putting when you notice it.
@blaatann Oh yeah, I notice that now too after doing a film course. Michael Bay is the worst culprit. Then again without it, things can look dull and lifeless like the prequel trilogy of Star Wars, which is all beige and white.
If I were a director I'd do weird filters just for the hell of it, a whole movie in purple!.
Like with MST3K I find i actually like these more when they do movies I like. In fact the worse the movie is, the harder it is to sit through for the funny riffs *case in point Monster a Go Go was nearly impossible to sit through*
Normally I would take offense, but this time I'm gonna give you a by on the Arkansas crack. Perhaps I am doing it for no other reason than the mario kart reference.
I'm surprised they didn't dwell more on the moment when Stellan Skarsgard gleefully shrieks "Steriods!" I understand he's winging it but no one should sound that happy when telling a shield agent the their friend is on steroids.
This is the only way I would ever see the movie, thanks to Rifftrax. You've also allowed me to ironically view Transformers and Twilight without shame and regret.
@uurmek I share your shame & regret with Transformers & Twilight! I actually watched my Thor rental pre-Rifftrax out of curiosity. No shame or regret; little enthusiasm either. Mildly entertaining mediocrity with a ridiculous overuse of dutch angles (during perfectly normal scenes in New Mexico). The upside is that now I can concentrate purely on their riffing & not try to figure out what the hell is going on. I hope they make some dutch angle jokes, film geek I am.
