@konumers You have some nerve to criticize this beautiful duet. Andy and Marilyn did a beautiful cover of Endless Love. There is not another cover of this song that even compares to theirs.
@konumers ...well I agree with you on the Andy Gibb part and the arrangement. But Ross isn't 1/10th the singer that McCoo is. McCoo is the quintessential easy listening singer (a genre I'm not particularly fond of normally) and Ross is just no match for her. "Endless Love" is a fairly sappy song, Ross (the black Olivia Newton John) only offers her faint, whispery vocals. McCoo's voice is much more rich and aesethically pleasing, at least to these ears.
I just would like to say again that this is such a beautiful duet and that Andy is just too sweet for words. I just melt everytime I see this video! Oh Andy, you will always be my Endless Love!
i recall watching this show on television. I use to watch Solid Gold just to see Andy. Yes this has brought tears to my eyes for a couple of reasons...one is missing our Angel Andy and another for a dear friend of mine that passed last year...this was her fave song...thank you for posting this video
