And Yes I do know that the first season was in black and white with that lyric before it was changed the second season in color. Maybe you were trying to do an homage to the B&W version but...the colcr one with the P&MA lyric is more recognized and perfered I think.
As I said...I have nothing to do with the recording of this song. "Uranus" covered this song. All I did was rip it to my hard drive, import it into Windows Movie Maker, add a few album cover pics/scans & Gilligan pics as imagery to accompany the video. The song was recorded by "Uranus", and appeared on their album "You're So Square" in 1980. The album also featured cover versions of songs by The Stones, Eddie Cochran, and Buddy Holly to name a few. Please see my other Uranus video
Why in the name of all that is important in whatever belief system you choose would you choose the "And the rest" lyric instead of "The Professor and Mary Ann"? Terrible choice. The Classic TV song can bring tears to my eyes. The Bowling for Soup one brings a smile to my face in a familiar homage to a great show. This-kinda screams look at me I'm different because Im the uncool one.
Lol...I'm well aware of the fact there was two versions to the theme song from the show. I didn't choose the lyrics pal. "Uranus" recorded this song...not me...they chose 'em. They made the choice to cover this version when they recorded their album "You're So Square" back in 1979. If you have any problems...please contact them. Oh...and good luck with that.

The drummer was Dexter Beauregarde...and yes, he's great! If he's your Dad, that's very cool indeed :)
What's he doing these days? Is he still playing? Say hello for me...
Cheers!
