@arpeggio1358 No, Sarah sings classical crossover and sings much better than most opera singers. Who cares about the opera, when she is just singing a single aria, and sings it beautifully? I wish more women would sing Nessun Dorma. Jackie Evancho has mastered the aria, and if Puccini could hear her, he would rewrite the entire opera for mezzo-soprano.

This is an aria written for a male singer (tenor). He is singing about winning the love of the princess Turandot, on the eve of his potential execution. I wish women would quit singing it. Also, Brightman's looks have nothing to do with hr voice, which isn't the voice of an opera singer, by the way.

I met Sarah though business (non-entertainment related) in 2001. I loved her, of course, and she took a liking to me. She called me often to talk, sometimes as early as 5 am my time. Of course as soon as I heard her voice on my answering machine, I grabbed the phone. Our phone calls tapered off and ended the next year. She was very busy. I miss talking for hours with her. She still is and always will be my favorite.
