Does anybody remember, someone sued the makers of this cartoon? They re-made the series, with different voices and animation. The new version was short lived, because it stank so bad.

Eventually, I guess someone bought the rights back, and the original characters were restored.

8thmonth, no one sued Filmation as He-man like most of their cartoons was licensed work which means the show was actually under the control of who ever Filmation got the license from (Matell in this case). This is why Hallmark has problems putting much of the Filmation library on DVD-- they have to go to who ever Filmation got the license from.
