@guitarist5477 see technically they're Emo because they fall under that pop alternative sound like AAR and FOB. Being an Emo band has nothing necessarily to do with being depressing at least directly so. Its the content of the songs on top of the sound they have

YOu must not understand Music Genres. and you must not have read my first comment entirely. and to repeat myself is rather annoying but I suppose I can for you. Its in their lyrics and their sound that make them Comparable to bands like AAR (All-American Rejects) and FOB (Fall Out Boy) which are both classified as Emo. Another prime example of an Emo Band would be like 30 Seconds to Mars.
