The only thing that made the UFC good was that Nog and Cop signed with them but Fedor didn't need to chase after 2 guys he already beat. The top 2 UFC champs in AA and Sylvia left. So far, Strikeforce has proven to have a legit HW division. Arlovsky was on a tear before running into Fedor you can't deny that. Much better record than Mir. How does that not impress you?

Fedor would have been murdered by Brock or any other Top UFC HW after all he was beat in 1:09 of the first round by a UFC reject. Big mistake for Fedor not accepting the deal with UFC because he would have made a ton of money. M-1 Global is fucked now that their prized fighter has lost they don't have the power they used to. UFC doesn't even let it's fighters collect cash for using their likeness in video games, merchandise, etc. That is one of many reasons why Randy, Hendo, Tito, Arlovski, and many others have had issues with UFC in the past. When you sign with UFC, you are UFC property. Every pro sport has a union. MMA has none. Until it does, UFC will continue to collect millions while fighters don't get credit they deserve.

Millions of Russians adore Fedor(he carried olympic torch), co promoting for a few events will only expand UFC's international appeal. There is no contract dispute since they will make a cool 50 million freakin dollars for stepping in the ring. That is more than every UFC fighter's yearly salary combined! Yes, we have the biggest market, but do you know how many millions of Russians adore Fedor and watch his fights? Imagine if UFC were to sign a 1-3 fight co promotion deal.. UFC would not lose ANY market share. They would only gain more international fans and break the stereotype that we are greedy know-it-all Americans. If Fedor were to lose, they'd just gain even more respect for UFC.

@Mario1057 true, but I'm not sure how many Russians can afford a UFC pay-per-view. I think if Fedor only fought one or two fights against UFC guys and won the stock would go down, maybe not plummet. UFC fans would think they are missing something and start to research other MMA productions and possibly watch other companies. Which would either result in other companies having more money to get other fighters, and less sponsors for the UFC. If Fedor lost = Less $ and less hype.

@fu3ar25 Actually I was aware of both, with no camera's though, all we'll have to go is people's accounts of what happened. With actual video footage, we can all see definitively what actually happened

People talk about Fedor being afraid, but what about 1 and half year ago when fedor came from a victory over Sylvia and wanted to fight Randy, Randy also whanted to fight him but UFC did not let it happend!

The thing is...The UFC (dana white) wants control of the fight..He does not want to share the earnings/marketing with M1 Global...He want's Fedor in the UFC not just a single fight..Because if Fedor does beat Lesnar than it just shows M1 figthers are better and that the UFC does not have the best fighter/fighters....So until the UFC(dana white) actually gets Fedor, we will not see a fight.

@MrArchangel2000 Dana is a smart business man.He is not going to split the earning with his competition just to have one fighter fight possibly one fight.If Fedor beat Lesnar it would just show that Fedor is better than Lesnar not M-1 fighters are better than UFC fighters.You would be dumb to believe that.When M-1 gets it through there head that Dana don't need them and/or when Fedor gets tired and leaves M-1 for the UFC is when the fight will happen.

I regress as far as the UFC v. Pride thing goes. The only reason I argue about that is because of how Pride fans used to (and still do in many cases) put down UFC fighters as less than Pride fighters. It didn't pan out that way. As for the video at hand you guys blaming Dana White and the UFC are just oblivious. Co-promoting with M-1 would be a RIDICULOUSLY stupid business move for the UFC and is a RETARDED demand from M-1. The millions of dollars Dana offered Fedor should be enough.

why? why would single co-promotions, that wouldnt happen without it, be crazy. so ufc does its 100 shows a year and makes a bazillion dollars, then they have one more show, where they have fedor fight brock, and the two companies co-promote and they both make bank..? and if they didnt it wouldnt happen and no money is made? saying its stupid is ignorant... the ufc is just greedy and forcing a monopoly. dana sais to be the best u gotta fight the best, well then HW's better start going to Sforce

and ps.. pride fighters have dominated the ufc... nog, rua, a.silva, henderson, rampage, all top fighters.. until ufc gets fedor, its HW division will always be second best
