  • Is wrong to get excited to hear that sound.

  • can everyone stop saying that cameras cant release their shutter with out a lens on? it only has to be on the 'M' setting and it will release the shutter. this is for non cpu lenses that the camera doesn't even know are attached.

  • and change your compactflash

  • why is nikon back to front?

  • @mayzon111222 mirrorview

  • yeah, keep the cover on that thing man.. youre letting all types of crap in there. we can hear it fine :)

  • Next on my list to get for my D700. Are you using the extended battery pack or AAs?

  • @LEXPIX have to use AAs for the 8fps [or the d3 battery pack but i heard people are annoyed with the converter you need for the d3 battery... the grip plus the same battery you use in your d700 will only get you 5 or 6 fps?

  • FAFAFAFAFAFAFAFAP FAP FAP LOL

  • Man that is sweet!! I'm trying to choose btw the D700 and 5d makr 2

but i can't make up my mind, what u recomend me ? i just want to take pics with stunning quality.

  • @vegetta0714 Sony NEX5 is amazig.

  • May i say simply that anybody who complains about Dust in these videos is ignorant. The sensors can be cleaned and you need to realize it is the owners camera. The cameras can be handled properly no matter what.

  • Hey could you tell me, why the camera is faster(frames per second) with grip?

U need two batteries inside to achieve that?

And do this work with third party grips?

I'm also curious if for example nikon d90 will be faster with grip?

    please answer :)

    thanks :)

  • @Ciulas1991 The speed increase works only in D300, D300s and D700. You need 8 AA-batteries to get 8 FPS or EN-EL4a battery. D90 doesn't get more FPS with grib.

  • @FinlandApollo thank you.

  • @Ciulas1991 No problem mate

  • If you not tell it to him, can you please tel it to me. Here or in a private message. Thank you very much sir.

  • @Limpmania Tell him what?

    About sensor cleaning?

Well there are swabs, and there are Artic Butterfly® from VisebleDust for instance.

  • @Fotosidan Ni, how you can shoot without a lenses?

  • @Limpmania

Why shouldn't it work? A lens is not required for the shutter to operate.

  • @Fotosidan The D40-D5000 has a setting in the firmware to stop the user from being able to release the shutter without a lens. It's supposed to stop the possibility of getting dust in the sensor or damaging while cleaning.

  • @Limpmania Put it in M lol

  • I suggest cleaning your sensor right after you do this. Mega Dust on yo' sensor!

  • ну не хрена се хреначит!

  • @arzy2008 пиздец да ! ,? )))

  • @c78932500 да! =)

  • I don't understand these type of clips. Pointless. At least mount a lens on it.

  • Now count the dust that went inside the sensor...

  • @rsx2 i would imagine that camera has a censor cleaning system

  • @MegaAfroGuy yes it does have "sensor cleaning." But it only works in fantasy land since my D700 appears to have some dust in the sensor already after 3 months of use and 5000+ pics later. All that so called sensor cleaning does is vibrate the sensor for a split second. it does not clean the sensor effectively. sorry.

  • @rsx2 haha well this guys gonna have a problem, unless theres a shop that can clean censors but i doubt it, my olympus' censor cleaning is more or less effective about 2000 exposures in

  • @rsx2 hah calm down nerd. dust doesnt want to get inside your sensors vagina that quick

  • @ithree6mafia a vagina joke??? wow. that's even funnier coming from a bigger nerd.

  • @rsx2 that was a good one dude. calm down.

  • @rsx2 LOL

  • @rsx2 Zero is the answer.

  • 6seconds? What kind of bullshit is this?

  • riktigt snyggt men du borde ladda upp mer videor

  • doesn't it get screwed up without a lens

  • no, but it attracts dust into the body

  • Which is a bad idea to not do what he just did.

  • @faloc Weather sealed lenses earn their weight in gold here.

  • You might get some dust in there, not too big a problem.

  • Why in the world does the MB-D10 make the shutter shoot faster? There is nothing Physical to make it so? Is this a gimmick to just over inflate the price on the D10? It seems to me it just tells it to shoot faster, like some software built in.

  • Higher voltage allows shutter mechanism to cycle faster.

  • never thought of that, thanks. Does that mean batteries die a bit faster? Not really a big thing for me since I click at 1 shot repose click another. I was just wondering.

  • wow i thaught my d200 was cool...

  • does shooting at 8fps drain your batteries more? and about how many shots can you take at both 5 and 8fps until the buffer fills? also, can you shoot at these framerates in raw too?

  • REPLY to

    heardyetforsaken

8fps does drain the batt more -- one can take 100 frames at 8fps, regardless of they type [raw (12/14 bit, lossless/lossy) or jpg/tiff]. You don't get more than 100 at 5fps (not that it's a negative), the buffer is huge.

  • what is that 8 fps with battery grip and 5 with out

  • He's shooting without a lens to show you the shutter in action, idiots. Seriously.

  • Its obvious that there are plenty of people that dont understand the point of this video. Save your breath. I'm glad that you at least you made it clear to them.

  • agreed...that battery grip is pretty cool. only difference is the D3 can shoot at 11 fps...which I cannot think of a time where I need to jack it up that high...

  • Roddick213 / Prophit7,

The D3's 11fps is in DX mode (using APS-C size frame, like the D40 to D300, & only 5MP of res -- hopefully not a common scenario) -- in FX mode a.k.a. "Full Frame" the D3 shoots up to 9fps, only 1fps faster than the D700 w/ MB-D10 + the much more powerful EL4e battery: Re: **Prophit7's** question, this is Nikon's best battery & far surpasses a standard EL3e's ability to deliver power. It's mechanical work, not software/gimmicks. 4e's last much longer (2500 pics)

  • @Roddick213 yea, you might as well just be shooting video at that point, lol.

  • why the fuck would you shoot without a lens..........

  • Well, i used up all my money on the camera....

    ...or not.

But i wouldn't ask you to understand why, since you can't even use a proper language. So you will just be sitting ther wondering why and i'll just sit here smiling at you.

  • OR because you have to show off since you are such an insecure photographer.

what's your website btw, so i can see your portfolio?

  • hey... what technique do you use to clean your sensor?

  • @Fotosidan I think he was pulling you up on it because you are essentially asking for trouble. If you simply have the camera switched on with no lens the sensors is charged; charged sensor means dust is attracted to it. I can only imagine how much flew in when you pulled this stunt, haha.

But seriously, it's not the end of the world and he was a douche about it anyway.

How is the D700? I am buying one and I am stupidly excited, lol.

  • @dotspace77 : Well, I am a professional shooter and writer.. So i knew exactly what i was doing, i also have both wet and dry cleaning sets. On another point.. This is not even my camera, it's a loan from Nikon. I use the Nikon D3. This was made as an comparison to the D3 in a review i wrote.

The D700 is a great camera, next version vill be even greater ;)

  • @Fotosidan @Fotosidan "next version will be even better" Vet du om det är en ny kamera från Nikon på G eller :)?

  • @Fotosidan are you hinting that you do know something by that wink??? :))))

  • need a lens in front

  • does it shoot 8fps in DX or in FX?

  • both

  • full FX

  • Ciachciachciach

  • yeah right!! small buffer my ass! where does the buffer get stored? LOL it has a mighty cpu and will match the d3.

  • sensor dust.

  • Why did it slow down for the last two frames?

  • he lifted the shutter and does a quick press again

  • Because the D700 has a relatively small buffer (say compared to a Canon 1D MkIII) and he hit the end of it.

  • LOL, idiot. the mk3 has a smaller buffer than the D3/D700

the buffer capacity of the mk3's compare to the D80/D200

about 50shots before it slows down.

TRUST ME i shoot runway all the fucking time

and yeah there's still cocky canon shooters, they shut up when they see my D3 and 700 but yeah

now there's the new 5D mk2 guys, they stll can't compete shit

  • thets true... even though mk2 has double the res of d3/d700 it still cant say shit cuz nikon is simply better :) canon sucks dick

  • good points, but you talk like a little kid, sounds like you are a 14 year old and have a D40 lol

  • You can blow arse air all you want, but does simply having a different brand make you a better photographer? ;)

  • the camera helps quite a bit despite what people say. to somebody who does not study photography a picture taken with one camera as opposed to another would be all their untrained eye needs to determine what the "better" photograph is.

  • The only factor that will affect the photo is the lens, not the camera. Even then, that's only barely 1%, the 99% oh what makes a photo good being the photographer and his/her grasp of technique etc. Film cameras count even less because they don't have their own individual sensors, use the same film on different cameras and the only difference would be the lens quality.

I've seen people take amazing photos even with D40s/400Ds and cheap 18-55mm kit lenses.

  • Probably was shooting in RAW, or that he just stopped.

  • heh.. just my macbooks cam that refuses to mirror the image :)

  • is that a left hand d700?
