  • i just saw a recent vid of him. O....M....G.....wanted to cry. Getting old blows so hard and that's all there is to it.

  • @ferngullyful Getting old is no job for sissies.

  • @ferngullyful At least now he has the old, curmudgeon attitude to go along with his age. I miss u, Uncle Al.

  • Well said ..

oops im late for the new justice beavers cd release party featuring " usher "

    BARF

  • With Sympathy is a good album, I wonder if Al was being honest here, saying it's not "his" album...

  • Why does Ministry say "Stop" in their concerts? Where does that come from? All of their live performances are peppered with the "Stop" word, is it just a meme or something? I saw them for Culatour, and yeah, kept saying "Stop" through the whole concert. I know I'm missing something, and it's driving me crazy. I've was listening to Ministry back in 1990, and I've never met or talked to anyone who knows what the "Stop" thing is. Trademark? Why?

  • @79hyperwave

Try asking someone at the concert next time you go. I dont know about that.

  • qwq45 and jacobladders are really funny

  • @laxiton ha ha ha ha ha ha you love that right the guy dosent know where to focus his thought and energy qwq45 is a jealous snake with no mind of his own he gets off bashing others on their opinions

  • @jacobladders Yeah online discussions tend to heat up :-) My opinion 4 what it's worth: Making tunes myself, a mix of industrial, metal, ambient..I find myself switching betwn styles, daily, doing absolutely only what I want @ same time. Now, if I would have the chance to release an album I would probably put the songs of same style/character together anyway, it just sounds better that way + if it's popular it makes you keep da keep the job n continue what I like or even influence evolution.

  • @laxiton thats awesome you make industrial music mixed with metal & ambient being creative is what its all about being eclectic and different without tryin to compramise shit for anybody and being original and not making one song sound the same as the next one on the album but yeah it got me heated with this motherfucker

qwq45 when he was bashing my thoughts and opinions on metallica selling out after the black album ministry never ever sold out to their fans they just grew with their music

  • @jacobladders Actually I meant that I might put the songs that are the same style, or let's say "character" (not necessarily same type of sounds (industrial/metal/ etc)) together because sometimes it just sounds more as a whole. Then again honestly it would annoy me that it comes over as that's the only style of music I make. so I admit there's a paradox :-) But lot of things in life are grey, not black or white.

  • @jacobladdersAbout Metallica, like some of the old riffs but don't like the voice of Hetfield. Ministry and the lot just had this kind of "angry but you can kiss my ass from hell" ring to it :-) Metallica was too clean to my liking but I'm sure lots would disagree. Oh well, whatever floats their boat :-)

  • Fuck the record label companies. It's all money and power.

  • @TeaBagger5000 True, whatever the aim of a company, whether it's to make money to promote music they believe in or to fund their lives, it's all about the same in the end. One would need a New World Order to change that ;-)

  • Big record labels control their artists because they want to control the fans. Ministry's message of NWO resistance couldn't be allowed to wake up the masses. I fear Ministy was co-opted by NWO big label puppets to be used as a "fake opposition" tool of the NWO. Where do you think big record labels came from? Research "Ex-Illuminati, John Todd". He was president of Zodiac Productions, a company that controlled most music in America for keeping control of the youthful masses.

  • @katydig that's why I don't trust entirely most of the bands I sued to listen to;there might be some exceptions though;those corrupt peaple won't use the whole bunch of bands signed with them just some few weaker characters that obay imediately but I don't really get what you wanted to say with Ministry;s N.W.O song it's still donno...pretty well directed in my opinion. Can you explain this to me a bit?;it's a little confusing

  • @bloodyrockfire I think NWO is from the album "Psalm 69: How to succeed and how to suck eggs". That title is taken from satanist Alister Crowley's "Book of Lies" & means oral sex (suck seed & suck eggs). I'm not bashing oral sex, but Satanism is steeped in sex black magic. Getting the masses of young people connected to Satanism is one of the goals of our NWO masters. They lure us in with music that opposes government corruption. Once we're in, we are under the influence of their master Satan.

  • @katydig that's correct;this other information you gave me about that book als lended on a question mark;was this album supposed to be a protest or just a fake judgement of the certain NWO maintaining the revolutionary behaviour but directed on an awkward course? the title is open for any kind of interpretation at this point. As you just said, the youth community is the prime resource for the masteerminds due their increased goalability compared to the adults but as a deeper conclusion the adult

  • @bloodyrockfire Sorry, I'm not sure what you're asking me about the album. But I suspect that all of Ministry's work is designed to misdirect its fans' anger. They may be protesting the NWO in words, but not in actions. Also, they only focus on George Bush and the Republican Party. The NWO network is much bigger than that. The Democratic Party is just as much under the control of the NWO puppet masters. To learn all about this, search Youtube on "false left/right paradigm".

  • @katydig community itself is seriously highjacked using porn as a vital tool to lure them into temptation;this operation prgressively whiped out their vitality and as a result they loose their devotion of their emotions and of what they have to offer twards their children, wich take these manifestations as an influence to their education that later develops their personality;that's how generation numb all up time after time;to make things even more confusing and untouchable;they use these

  • @katydig artists through their catchy music videos that use to show various females dancing in a suspect matter almost entirely naked;that's how they strike the children directly right to the limit without corrupting copyrighted products;this chain of corruption caries on growing longer and longer and nobody seems to want to stop it

  • Al is a major influence on Trent Reznor and Rob Zombie, Al is the coolest!

  • So he made a little Disco hit, big deal. I'm tired of guys like him that get all embarrassed because they think they've been typecast as mainstream.

All music is an evolution and tastes change. As far as I'm concerned, everything after Stigmata sucked.

  • @cyprixx Stick to Annie Lennox, Boy George, Simply Red ? (????)

  • Show host is wearing Pyramid Blaster sweater!!

  • Well said AL. It's pretty neat how some good music icons reveal the truth about record labels.

  • Al Jourgensen = Legend

  • What Are Al Jourganson's "Twin Sisters" Like? Are They Sexy? Are They Do-Able? If I Was To Fuck Al's Twin-Sister... Would His Music Become More...Rockin'? She's Not A Druggie...Is She? Is Lacey Brooks... The Porn-Star... One Of Al's "Better Halfs/Dreamers Of The Male Id"?Hmmm.... I Do Not Know....Though... I Might Be Texan

  • got the mind is a terrible thing to taste, the land of rape and honey, filth pig,rio grande blood and revco's big sexy land on vinyl im gonna hunt down psalm 69 on wax as well

  • @jacobladders i think metallica sucks as well, i was making a point to some idiot-who said that metallica sold out before ministry. ministry sold out before their first album. the second he made a pact with the record co.

  • @qwq45 Ministry anyway didn't intend to sell out for cash;like Al said just now he didn't feel confortable producing new vave music and then during their last years as far as I know Jourgensen has founded his own record label, beeing the smartest move he ever did in his careear as the leadsinger of Ministry.I wish I'd see other personalities complaining about the same issue more often.....

  • @bloodyrockfire what he said or what you think he said is irrelevant. what he did is. there is nothing wrong wlth trying to get your foot in the door, getting a contract is cutthroat. but to go about it the way he did. says alot of his lack of character. i find it interesting i only get these types of posts from younger people, some of who arent even aware that he played new wave in the beginning.

  • @qwq45 lol of course I was aware that he's first records are new wave but damn why would he bash his own work;of course tissing a company whatever the reasons are in public is kinda suey;what bugs me is that he seemed to enjoy the new wave songs while playing them live

  • @bloodyrockfire he trashed his earlier work, because hardcore was the next big thing. especially in the midwest, depeche mode type new wave, never really caught on there.look at john mellencamp, he was john cougar-he laughed about, and moved on,now nobody can criticize him .he even gets respect for it. but this douche, will always have this following him. back in the late 80',fans would yell, with sympathy. and you could see a reaction from him. also called him a wanker and mate.fake brit accent

  • Comment removed

  • @qwq45 well, i don't think ministry has ever sold out what so ever i think they were very unique with their creativity on putting together the unbelievable industrial sound they had, the reason i hate metallica was because of lars ulrich making such a big woop out of napster he could've secretively had it shut down with out the publicity and news media promoting the hog wash, but instead he made himself out to be a self centered prick

  • @jacobladders youre wrong on both accounts. ministry did sell out, they played a genre of music that was popular at the time, which they used to get recognition.then proceeded to trash the fans that gave him his break, recognition.then came industrial, which he then proceeded to latch onto. if thats not selling out, what is? ulrich was right in making it public,do you condone theft, organized crime,i dont understand your thinking. a criminal should be privately admonished, not publicly punished. odd?

  • @qwq45 i don't have no say in organized crime whether its right or wrong this country was built on organized crime from the start when we slaughtered millions of indians and all the way up to the drug war puttin people in jail and i have no idea why you brought up corruption in the 1st place i think your a piece of shit personally just for calling me wrong on my opinion of lars ulrich making a big deal out of the whole napster issue when really he could've had it to his own affairs without media

  • @jacobladders YOU WHINE ABOUT MY OPINION ,INITIATING THE POST. WHILE GIVING YOURS? YOU ARE AWKWARD,NO AND INSECURE. I KNOW I HUMILIATED YOU, I ALWAYS DO TO IDIOTS WHO DESERVE IT. ITS BETTER TO SLINK AWAY AND SAVE YOURSELF FURTHER HUMILIATION. YOURE NOT REDEEMING YOURSELF BY POSTING A IRRELEVANT REPLY. HAVE I TWISTED YOU SO BAD, WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT INDIANS, AND REPOSTING THE SAME QUESTION.TRYING TO STALL FOR TIME. HOW USELESS ARE YOU.WHAT DO YOU DO IN REAL LIFE. CALL TIME OUT, THEN REPLY

  • @qwq45 ha ha ha ha ha you really care about what i said to you? you brought up the notion of organized

crime and corruption on your fucking 1st reply to me faggat ass motherfucker you didnt even humilate me one bit what do you do for a living collect off the government you fucking mooch go bury your head in your mothers smelly cunt you piece of garbage

  • @qwq45 no and insecure? you got serious spelling and vocabulary problems fuckface you must be another high school drop out bum

  • @jacobladders how fast your demeanor has changed. ran out of weak replies, did my replies humiliate you. what happen to the cool facade you were displaying before i did what i do so well, that is embarrass awkward idiots like you. now youre relying on what all cornered you tube idiots post, spelling or case.that wasnt a factor before.why now? quick, think of a witty remark. maybe you can rebuild your cool facade ,like the one i tore down.btw, what happened to ministry, that is why were here, right?

  • @qwq45 you still can't get over the fact that your a keyboard idiot asshole who calls artists sell outs sad motherfucking sod you are, psalm 69 is an amazing album, thats your problem you lost interest in good music and bored yourself to death go eat a cookie you dumb fuckhead

  • @jacobladders no not really. i never needed to ''get over it'', because i never was. nut you, junior. on the otherhand, do. are you so insecure and defensive that you believe that an open post is,a direct criticism of you? it sure is. i dont know or care about your existence. you posted me. and you will continue to do so. in a pathetic attempt, to regain your pride. i humiliated and frustrated you, nothing can change that. it will only get worse. is that why you obsessively post? hope, so unfair

  • @qwq45 yeah its unfair in your case that your a god damn hater of all sorts i don't have to regain my pride by fighting with retarts like yourself if its anything your telling me your reflecting yourself in the mirror guy gotta hold your hate up towards everybody cause of their opinion thats sad and pathetic i bet you'll be hatin on you tube critics til you drop dead i ain't insecure i love ministry you just happen to hate them and their musical contributions to the world over aw poor you

  • @jacobladders AMUSING. NEXT

  • @qwq45 yeah it is amusing whats really amusing is that you tell me im insecure and defensive ha ha ha ha ha ha that aint me fuckface your the one that brought up corruption on your fucking 2nd response to me and i shared some of my thoughts and opinions then you tell me something different in trying to change the thought? c'mon what kind of silly shit is that you deuchebag for real see you love youtube beefs as much i love writing to people like you saying how much of a piece of shit you are!

  • ministry rocks al jorgenson is so right about how idiotic little punk ass bitches the record companies can be

  • @trex6321 he knows how idiotic little punk ass bitches record companies can be?he should he got on his knees sang with a fake accent thaN STARTED SUCKING

  • that man loves his speed

  • Al's newer solo stuff is more like his old melodic pop songs, he was always a popstar at heart.

  • I knew metalica sold out those fuckers!!!!!!!!!

Ministrys still true & those who follow'

  • @blakdeath27 ive never liked metallica but atleast they waited to "sell"out" after what their like 10th album .ministry sold out on their first and continued all the way to the end hes just in it for the money-he talks anti est.and uses drugs but all thatsjust an image he tries to sell just like when he had that fake accent.what whores will do for money and idiots like you will follow.so know a little before you type moron

  • @qwq45 metallica sold out after they put on their self titled record (black album)

  • i agree that With Sympathy is nothing to be ashamed of -- for what it is (dark, new-wavey pop), it's one of the best albums out there!

  • Twist .... do maybe mean Twitch???

  • His British accent is gone....

  • @mashinkle ...He is Cuban.

  • @crazzzynut born october 8th 1957

  • This was the band that did a 180.

  • what sunglasses r those i want a pair like those do any of you know what there called

  • @spookykidx1

The sunglasses that Al Jourgensen is wearing are known as "outfielder's flip-up" style sunglasses. Baseball outfielders wear them during sunny games while playing their positions in the outfield.

The glasses allow them to view and incoming fly ball without being blinded by the rays of the sun, and at the last moment, they can flip them up with a light tap on the bottom of the lenses (small thumb tabs there that stick out). Lenses are spring loaded and can flip back down.

  • i wanna have Alien Jourgensens baby!!!!!!!!!

  • @MixtressDemonatrix He is not available, can I try?

  • It's Jack Sparrow

  • looooool

  • what a dick, his first album is awsome and he's talking out his arse , you can tell he loved synth pop from the live performances he gave

  • @PatrickIngham21 I don't think he had anything against synth pop, he just didn't like the major label turning him into a product.

  • Ok thats fair enough but to this day he dismisses that album and refuses to re-release it on cd which is a great shame as its a top album!

  • If an artist refuses to reissue an album, then all signs point to "yes" for downloading the FLAC version or hunting down the vinyl. I've had the FLAC version of that album and I'll admit some of it is kinda cheesy...

  • Yes ive got the Vinyl version, some of it is cheesy but hey it was 1983! i still think overall its a good album :)

  • I like nin but not nearly as much as ministry

  • Too bland and polished

  • he's fricken joe cool.. everyone knows it.

  • Is that Martin Atkins next to him?

  • Yeah, wild blonde hair and the same striped shirt . . . I was thinking the same thing.

  • dang, almost 20 years ago. I remember when I was in JH and that came out.

Hes been known to tear of "With Sympathy" while at local radio stations during interviews. May have changed since the late 90s though.

  • I watch his very early videos, live performances, material from Sympathy and he does seem to enjoy the songs.

  • What king of weird ass sunglasses are those?

  • those are the same old school flip up sunglasses that baseball players wear. I have a pair, want to buy them?

  • Honestly With Sympathy is hit and miss. Revenge and Effigy are both classics, but most of the album is pretty cheesy and dated.

However the earlier singles and especially the entirety of Twitch are fantastic. Twitch will always be my favorite Ministry LP hands down! They managed to capture that Belgian EBM sound, but give it even more balls.

  • agreed with everything you say about twist. That's just perfect. I love all of his later stuff too but Twist is perfection.

I agree with what you said about With Sympathy too. I pretty much agree with everything you said.

  • Al is gonna have songs about the NWO and Bush senior, Jr. SO HES AGAINST THE NWO BUT THINGS ARE ALL BETTER NOW FOR AL BECAUSE OBAMA IS PRESIDENT.

SOUNDS TO ME LIKE HES EITHER CONFUSED, IGNORANT OR HE WAS JUST MAKING MUSIC FOR YOUR MONEY BECAUSE YOU FOLLOW THE FAD TOO!

    WHERES ALL THE ANTI-OBAMA MERCH!?

ITS A FAD! YOUR BEING CONTROLLED!

    NWO

    TV

    SHEEPLE

  • Allcaps isn't cruise control for awesome.

  • It's Billy Mays

  • he sounds like cobain.

  • Ministry used to be so cool. I miss the "Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste" days.

He needs to just get over the first album thing.

  • 1st Cuben to say redneck.

  • The last one they made was The Last Sucker. After they completed their tour last year, they split up

  • goddamnit why cant he just own up to the first fucking record

  • the first record was pretty cool.

  • i like old ministry

  • Al is cool...not unusual to run into him in a bar drinking with his dog

  • LOL I just had a few drinks with Al on a flight from LA to Phx and he talked about his dogs.

  • He's bullshiting, he's like a tuff guy and he says that some pricks in record label made him do the record With Sympathy?? What kind of crap is that? There is evidence here on Youtube that he played LIVE all of his material from With Sympathy album which is great, so why did he did that? Because he disliked it? Who made him play live?

  • Al is fucking awesome

  • hey kids, how many rockers do you need telling you that they "found out" the music "industry" is about hard core capitalism, and they were, like, shocked, like you know? its not about rock or the bullshit music biz... you wanna get liberated, turn off the shit pretender rock resistance promo, and get a f...king life.

  • Thumbs up.

  • Al can deny it as much as he wants. I'm not buying it. With Sympathy is a great album, and I love it as much as I love Psalm 69. What's wrong with being eclectic?

  • lol i remember that! it had a hand with black nail polish and some flowers..red roses right? that was soo long ago! i agree with you..i'm a Ministry fan..regardless..

  • HE CAN TRY TO DENY AN D RATIONALISE ALL HE WANTS. BUT THE FACT IS THE RECORD COMPANY DIDNT 'FORCE' HIM TO WRITE AND PERFORM,WEAR CLOTHING HE DIDNT WANT TO. HE CERTAINLY WASNT FORCED TO SING AND TALK IN A FAKE BRITISH ACCENT. HIS MUSIC WASNT EMBARRASSINGOR THE CLOTHES HE WORE. WHAT IS ,IS EACH TIME HE DENIES HIS OWN MUSIC. HIS OWN BEHAVIOR,AS A TWO FACED BACKSTABBER,THAT IS WHAT MAKES HIM A SELLOUT AND PHONY.MORE PAthetic is,HE TRASHES THE PEOPLE WHO GAVE HIM HIS FIRST BREAK,RECOGNITION.. SAD

  • @qwq45 its a shame you call al a hater and all this other shit when you don't even know em personally your faggat keyboard hating wizard is what you are pathetic waste of youtube space you are go keil over and die asshole!

  • @qwq45 I don't know but I think you guys take this at a way too advanced course;Ministry didn't get recodnision because the industrial metal genre was popular back then already;they made it in some sort well known;the fans contributed and saluted their pretty music approach and by them massively supporting the band the media was bound to make a move as well;their greed was to big to handle to independent situation on it's own and wanted to influence this matter in a way or another;why do

  • @qwq45 you think the genre or band wasn't that persistant regarding the high rate they've been recieveing in that period of time;besides I think they proved it with Filth Pig that they can still bring some surprises calculating the several differences between Psalm 69 and Filth Pig;if Al was really apporving the whole lay out to the wold thing he would've formed his own record label;this might be another camuflated move twards attention but they maintained their style constantly afterwards up

  • @qwq45 up until now;I don't see then nominated anywhere; Now as a thin conclusion;let's say you call Ministry a sellout but just listen to the record that pounded back then and Metallica's latest works;a difference between these 2 like between water and fire mate.Metallica unlike Ministry lost their original edge or rather relenquished it for a few spins with the bunny greens. They use these recent albums to gain control over the fans by convincing them throughout their old stuff to trust them

  • @qwq45 further;that's what makes them so insanely blind and the fact that usually the basic theory says that whoever has the courage to change is way awesomer than others;well the thing is indeed as long as music speaks from the heart even if the genre is different I agree but otherwise I'm sorry not working out at all.by the way those first peaple indeed deserve appreciation for launching Ministry sky high on the radar but also to be harshly judged for an attempt to conquer the bands principles

  • @qwq45 That how most of the large fanbase community afforded to split into 2 halfs;one that got used to the metal approach they lended on and another that also divided into other groups of peaple that consider their change of style an attempt to demand attention and popularity

  • al is fucking goood...

  • music fans have become extremely jaded and want carbon copies of whatever the band had put out years ago. Since people can get it for free all the excitement is lost. its a shame that the ipod generation has sort of a give a fuck attitude toward music. when you have 8 thousand songs to choose from there isnt a connection like there use to be. all the intense moshing at concerts is gone, now fans are just going through the motions. Ministry FTW (post new wave)

  • @psychodeathmonkey

    It's so damn true, man!

I'm only 30, but I can definitely make a difference between the moshpits I've been into before 2000/2003 or something like that and the new ones!

At the beginning I thought it was strange to relate mp3s, Ipods and stuff to that, but it really looks like these younger guys are watching live shows as they were in front of a fuckin' monitor!

Maybe I still see good audiences in more underground shows of genres that stayed the same like thrash or hc punk!

  • I'm not a Ministry fan but that's not the point. I enjoy his no bullshit approach.

  • what happend to ministry? they used to be the shit. I remember i saw the butthole surfers here in austin about 12 years ago, and this guy came on stage and rocked a little too. it was awesome!

  • They've retired not long ago.

Made 3 Industrial Thrash Anti-Bush Albums and a covers album that all rocked as much as the old stuff, although I'm sure some moaners pining for the 'glory days' will tell you otherwise.

They've also just released a live album taking songs from their last tour.

  • It's a shame to see such an innovative rocker fade... I'll have to toast him next time on the Jukebox when I go out and play all Ministry.. it's fun to play Ministry and hokey bars where the old folks look at you like you're crazy!

  • haha i agree i did exactly the same...nearly emptied the pub with NWO!!!

  • hells yeah, let's all play ministry or butthole surfers on the jukebox at country bars around the nation!

  • @bigdsears hell yeah then a country bar will be worth the time can't forget scratch acid and big black gotta add them to the list

  • It was last year. I was at their last ever gig here in Dublin. Was a great show. But they will be missed.

  • they wrote wrong his last name in the program... assholes!

  • whoa! didnt notice that before, considering its only off by one letter. Good eye! lol

  • he is cuban lol

  • Here is a clip of Al on the Donahue Show in 1983 around the time of the his first record. watch?v=OEWL3Y6Kpzo

  • I remember watching this!

  • i still love twitch! with sympathy is good too. check out early trax to hear I'm falling (1980) and overkill (1981) overkill is one of the freshest ministry songs in my opinion

  • Just discovered "Same old Madness". I love early Ministry so if Al had nothing to do with it I'd like to know who did. WS and Twitch are my two favorite albums by these guys although in my wild youth I was into Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste. I will keep an eye out for the two you mentioned.

  • Absolutely agree. Overkill sounds like early Ministry trying to emulate The Damned and other similar Deathrock from the time.

  • "WITH SYMPATHY"Al how go from that in the early 80's to"THE MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO TASTE"in the late 80;s?''''were u in the group then?....saw ministry in N.Y.inthe early 90's,it was awesome..brings back good memories.

  • Al's more aggressive side is the best, because he is free from record labels telling what to write. That's not Al, that's just some random new wave band. I liked "With Sympathy" but its nowhere near as good as "The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste".

  • Agreed :)

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Dude what a cop / party bust thing to say.. I was just stoked outta my mind on "With Sympathy".. It's one of the reasons I make music..

C'mon Al, don't worry no one's gonna say you're a new wave sissy.. Actually "With Sympathy" has a sick edge.. anyway whatever.. that album will always be what it is.. RADICAL :D

Not to mention all the other subsequent brilliant albums/material.. Still love u Al!!

  • well, its not that it was terrible, its just not the type of music he wanted to make, and he was forced to do it, thats all. I truly believe that deep inside he doesnt think it was that bad, lol, it just wasnt his style.

thanks for your comment and thanks for watching!

  • you're welcome...Al's almost 50 so he's tired and ready to relax for the next decade or so. It's totally normal for a rock star to pack it in around his age. the ones that keep going are just feeding the insatiable money machine they built. That must be tedious and boring not to mention the catalyst to creating mediocre product so I'm glad AJ's packing it in now before that brand of lameness takes over.

  • yeah the one thing tho. ministry is done. and RevCo was, but then all realaced a statmen on thier web site that said " this last revCo albume is the best one hes ever done, and he was going to pass the band on but he said he thinks hes going to stick around a while longer" and he is even doing the revCo tour, not all the shows tho.

  • Really? Interesting. So its not to late to see Al live right? I mean, it wont be Ministry, but RevCo is awesome too. Anyways, thanks for sharing and thanks for watching.

  • o yeah. its not to late to see al. like I said hes only doing select shows, not all of them. but he will do most big ones im assuming. but i dont care i no ill be going to see him with revCo one last time.

  • With Sympathy is a brilliant album but it wasn't what Jourgensen wanted for his career so he revolted against it and evolved into the diversified musical artist he is and has been since With Sympathy. Great interview...he's so eloquent and confident in himself and he also seems quite sober and non drug induced which is always awesome...lol.

  • I totally agree. I used to always think that it was a bad album, but I guess thats because I was so used to hearing the "new" Ministry. It's not that its bad, it's just not the type of music he wanted to play. I too was impressed with this interview when I first saw it, he really shows how intelligent he is..or can be. lol. Ever seen a more recent Al interview...not so great. lol. But anyway, thanks for your comment and thanks for watching!

  • first of all fuck the guy below me, second Al looks fucking awesome here and third i just recently got my hands on a copy of With Sympathy (to complete my Ministry collection) and wow it does suck

  • metal ministry is fucking gay.

85-89 ministry was the shit though. agressive electro-synth-punk

  • I agree with you, his music before 1986 was the best, that was the Al I loved the most. Now look at him, a white trash tattooed devil worshiper.

  • well he's not white trash. that's a stupid term. he's white yes but he's a white cuban-american. yes his tastes in music have turned to shit but the music is his own metal style + yes most people are not interested in them anymore because they lost their edge + originality. i don't think he's a devil worshipper. i think he just hates the church, sounds okay to me givin that the church is corrupt. plus i like the old european ways more than christianity. europe is weakened because of judeo shit

  • and yes old ministry was great. despite al only being 19

  • I agree early ministry is far superior....if you look at ministry performing with sympathy live on youtube it looks like he is enjoying it.

  • I dunno, perhaps. It's not too important anymore. Have you heared of combichrist?

  • lol

  • hahahaha with sympathy is pretty bad.i love him anyway.everyone who has made music has made gay music.period.

  • haha..I must agree with you. That is true now that I think about it! Thanks for your comment!

  • Yeah but everything after that is good.

  • While I'm sure there's some truth in what Al's saying, if you search Youtube you'll see Ministry playing some of the songs from With Sympathy. And Al looks pretty into it.

  • And before that album, him playing with Special Affect, and playing Ministry songs around the same time that didn't sound like With Sympathy. I'm sure part of his enthusiasm was the huge oppurtunity he had been given at the time. *shrugs*
