the difference could be as simple as tire tread. also the wheelbase difference from the van to the pickup makes a difference as well. who knows, i don't beat my equipment for no reason

that dribble dick dosent know how to drive a diesel!

you dont plant it and choke up the engine with too much fuel, you wait for the turbo so it can make sue of the fuel then take off and keep an eye on your smoke to limit it. this keeps the diesel explosion within it's stoichiometric range of combustion.

diesel's have low down torque, with the way these guys both drove, the extra torque down low would have done shit all.
