  • Thank you

  • Can you hear the first recording while you record the second? I've been meaning to make a song but if I can't hear my first layer, it's quite difficult to record the second trying to sync them both. I'm not sure if this is how the program itself is, or just that it needs some tweaking of my part. I've tried with the latter, but haven't found anything that could solve my problem yet...Thanks!

  • Dude whenever i record it always plays back alot slower, any suggestions?

  • your computer is low batterey

  • HI DAVE ANDREW!!

  • Very nice! What we really need is a video on VOLUME CONTROL in 1.3 for Windows 7 for voice podcasting purposes. I get different volume each time I turn on Audacity and I am not making changes I know of. Mostly the problem is too LOW volume and no way I can find to increase recording volume in Aud or thru Cntl Panel. I've also had the opposite problem of too high volume creating distortion in playback. A mystery so far.

  • His voice bores my tba

  • David is amazing.

  • can i use this to record my pc games?

  • @vapors420 I heard of something called VirtualDub that might help. My favorite youtuber uses it.

  • Can I use audacity to add audio to my microsoft powerpoint presentation slides?

  • @hauribest you have to allow playing the first track while recording a new one somewhere in the options

  • @Apebamsen1991 you have to allow playing the first track while recording a new one somewhere in the options

  • CAN I RECORD GUITARS WITH THIS?

  • @corporacionmonstruo Yes, you can.

  • @corporacionmonstruo Yes! all you need to do is get a mixer, and a 2 end patch cord. One end will go in your output on your mixer, and the other end you will put in your computer's sound card or even in the mic. plug on your pc. You can get the right cord at like radioshack, or some place like that. you can run your guitar directly into the mixer, or run an amp into the mixer.

  • @corporacionmonstruo

yes, yes you can...i recording with my Epiphone Studio :3

  • can i direct record from my boss me 70s recording out put and not have a usb mic?

I try to record an over dub of a second vocal line but the delay is just impossible to negotiate.

  • Dave

I do the same as you with a mike but I get a delay when I play

I lay a guitar track then record bass and get a delay that messes the finished product up

    Any sugeestions

    Dave also

  • @getitup100 I get that same delay. You have to use the Time Shift tool to sync the tracks up after recording.
