I have ampkit with everything except bass heads, the battery power alone helps, I just wanted to see how they made it sound under professional sound, a friend has it, he can only use the clean channel

been playing with amp kit for a while and have to say that with some messin around you can get some awesome sounds its worth getting the American style amps and sonic edge tumbleweed for the real fender sound and the rocktron effects to for heavy stuff my real gear is a vox tone lab se in to a laney 80 watt and it sound beautiful so the fact that ampkit impresses me so much is a good sign. @llamacarlito trust me in my experience of effects especially multi effects it requires a lot of fine tuning I can sometimes sit for an hour just getting the sound I want but its so worth it with ampkit its a combo of what amp and what pedals and levels work but when you get it right and suddenly the tone and sound your looking for pop out its so satisfying i hear people say these apps are toys but that's just not true and if it keeps you coming back for more its defiantly not a be bad thing (0:

But well I tried ampkit and amplitube, ampkit is clarly the best.

Anybody who tried both would say that.

But you have to see it by yourself, not by just a demo.

In one way, I admit that I prefer the reverb and the brightess of the cleaner sounds of amplitube.

But for crunch and high gain, the quality of the sound, the volume, everything else of ampkit is just better than amplitube.

I'd say it's between the AmpliTube for iPhone and the Line6 pocket POD. I think the latter of the two is clearer in sound, but that just might be due to the settings.

The timber on the Pocket Pod is a bit more refined for me.

But with AmpliTube you get a ton more effects then on the Pod.
