It's a giant chunk of the planet that the miners were excavating for ore, and it was being pulled out by gravity tethers (like a tractor beam) but at this point in the game all that is messed up and it's falling back to the planet like a meteor.

first of all, Issac's body seems to change it's toughness from moment to moment. Somtimes a slasher can cut through like a knife through butter, other times a 60 story high monester has an apperently tough time ripping him in half (not to mention having a hard time trying to get him in it's mouth, lol)

and the whole can'd screaming part kind of killed for me. you might as well through some can'd luaghter in when his legs hit the ground just for the lulz

The screaming, unbelievably realistic, made me want to jump in and avenge him with some big ass bomb. The music flowed perfectly with the scene. um i have the game the hivemind is so much worse. isaac is forced to live with being shoved in its mouth and back out with no arms.then is pulled in half while he is still alive. the brute tears you in half after your dead. the hivemind doesnt. plus getting pulled in half is not always instant death

I try to get killed b y everything at least once for fun. I thought getting torn to bits by the Brute was entertaining. Especially when it first appears near that hole thing. Issac's torso fell into it. I laughed for a good ten minuets.
