Hi Skysurfer! How is it in Canada? We need the good stuff to YouTube as soon as possible so if we collect some contributions, we could send your Simulator PC via DHL, UPS ect. and then you could make more awesome videos! Seriously :)
Another good video F/O with a few minor exceptions. The reason why the auto-brake disengages after touchdown is due to the throttles not being closed/idle...737 Capt
@MrDarkuser1 "The reason why the auto-brake disengages after touchdown is due to the throttles not being closed/idle" - I think thats not correct. I had the same problem and the reason was my pedals. I have set a higher zero zone to my brakes (thanks FSUIPC). Now after touchdown all works fine.
does anybody know how i get the minimum flap retraction altitude for the case of an engine failure after v1? i checked all my charts but i don`t find anything...
best video ever... thank you so much. now i have enough hours to practise this flight... have a good time in canada and i hope to see some more videos in the future.
Great video. When you have the opportunity, please make a short video explaining the appropriate flaring technique for the 737. I've been struggling to make soft landings. I usually get between 100 and 150 ft/min on touchdown, which is not bad at all, as well as and some occasional hard landings, but I know it's possible to soften it more, and I'd also like to learn how the pros land this plane.
I also wish you all the luck on your new job in Canada.
@pulsaralpha You Just have to double-click the A/P or A/T disconnect switch. When you click it the first time, it'll desengage the corresponding system and on the second time it will turn off the alarm.
Best tutorial ever! Totally awesome.

I may have the solution to the auto brake problem as I had it too. Do you use FSUIPC?
I managed to clear it after it kept disarming upon landing

Hi Skysurfer!
I'm impressed, wow! What a beautiful flightvideo you made here...
And your explanation of all systems are very well as well.
What trick do you use to convert a flightvideo direct from FSX to You Tube- as it seems?
The resolution is brilliant, so I wondered what your 'filming' technique might be...
Thanx a lot buddy!

Bei welcher Fluglinie arbeitest du?
Welche Ausbildung hast du machen müssen?
Bildet die Fluglinie ihre Piloten selbst aus?
Wie sind (waren) die Aufnahmetests?
Ist die Fluglinie im Deutschsprachigen Raum?

That´s actually not really easy with FSX.... Just try to flare at about 15-20 feet and practice it again and again...

Sehr gutes Video! sehr ausführlich auch!
aber wie machst du diesen "weichen" Effekt mit der Kamera im Cockpit, also dass die kamera so "weich" herumschwebt?

Das ist einfach nur die original FSX camera mit der leertaste...
