this shit sux... even youtube normal sux on ps3 ... god damn browser needs update... i wanna at least watch in highquality... wtf did i buy an hd tv and hd system for... bah... im sure well get it in the future...
Guess that kind of ruins the point of getting it to work on the PSP, then. I guess the TV site URL is specified to detect the Wii or PS3 browser specifically.
Okay, I just tried this out with a PS3, and it seems very different from the Wii. The buttons are organized differently and everything is colored black, probably matched with the color of the console itself and the theme.
Oh, and the YT site on PS3 does function, but you can't do certain stuff like view messages as it causes the browser to freeze for a second and nag you about running out of memory. Oh, and browsing videos can cause the browser to freeze.
Yeah, I've seen a few screens of the PS3 version, and immediately noticed the black background.
I'm sure that the normal YouTube site isn't 100% functional on the Wii Browser (especially with a lot of the recent updates), but it still has more than what the TV site has.
Wow, Victor has a Wii, too? It's not too hard to set up, but I think you have to pay for the Internet channel, now... not too sure with the Japanese version, though.
Interesting, that first version looks so cumbersome, when you ca click and have it look just like my PC? Why bother?

Man I hope this works on PSP.

They didn't mention the PSP since it's a handheld, but it would be interesting (and probably more useful a site) if it worked.
KOHPelord 3 years ago
It does under Remote Play to the PS3, so TECHNICALLY it works on the PSP, though you'll need a PS3 for it to work.

I just found that the PS3 version doesn't have a volume control, or it's somewhere that I don't know.

Thanks! I am currently setting my wii for internet.

Well the Youtube for Tv seems a bit pointless...
tomaster190 3 years ago
Yeah, that's kind of my view on it so far, especially when the regular YouTube looks fine on it.

lol..."pelvic" was the first choice for your letters of your 'tags'
I got a Wii for the kids at Christmas. Will definitely have to check that out.
On a side note...almost 100% with the new computer. :P

Lol... some funny stuff if you look hard enough :P
You may have bought the Wii for your kids, but be careful or you might get addicted to it as well ;)
