Well, worldwide musical tradition is that clapping is after the piece is done. I watch other videos of Chinese bands and orchestras playing and this doesn't happen. I don't think it's that much of a deal though, just listen and enjoy the music. If the audience was having fun and enjoying the music, let them be because that's what the band's goal: to play well and entertain the audience with their acquired skills.

About the clapping:

Yes I agree that during orchestra performance it's impolite to clap in the middle, but if we pay attetion to this song and chinese theater tradition, that during chinese theater play it's it's impolite to keep quiet during the play, clapping and shouting come with the territory, very easy and normal and in this way the performors feel really appriciated. It's chinese culture. Specially in this two boosting and cheering songs. Hope foreigners don't difficult to understand.

對，吹不出嗩吶，而且好像低了至少一個大二度．．如果他們用tr­umpet in D（現代的是Bb) 可能好些, 但trumpet in D　很難買所以通當都用trumpet in Bb（那就吹死他們）

而且傳統中國調是没有FA（但有FA#) 這個音，他們一改就就不倫不類．．
