who isnt proud to be muslim? muslim men who dress in a way that the only way you can tell they are muslim is if they are walking with their wives, mothers or daughters. Muslim men are supposed to be leaders, not make the women represent islam, but the men should be foremost in representing islam. but they choose to shave, wear suits and ties, and look no different than the kuffar

Have you noticed the speecher is also wearing a  suit?

@nunacadey There is a dress code for men. I'm sure you know that, but your statement is too general. I agree with AbuMubarak, that men tend to hide, and a Muslim woman in hijab and abaya is usually shown to represent Islam. When I'm with my brother, people say "As salam alaikum" to me, and never him.

@Yakovar10 Well it's more than that. Allah said that if we are ashamed to be a Muslim, Allah will be ashamed to have you. Why would he say this? Personally I think it is because he knew Islam will be criticized a lot. It's a good test of faith. If u think about it, if u r too afraid to be criticized to by going to mosque and show that u r a Muslim to the Kafir. Means u r ashamed to pray to Allah. And that's very close to blasphemy. In non-muslim country, this may happen very often, sadly.
