If now the head moves, why is there still space around the platform? it looks like you can enlarge it a bit more... Maybe without dual extrusion you can increase the Y size?
I operated one of the first Stereolithography machines many years ago. One of the biggest problems was the stepping effect from solidifying (printing) the resin in layers. Even with high resolution part layering, slicing, the step effect was evident and tedious secondary finishing methods were required to get a 3D model with a smooth finished surface. What sort of resolution can this machine provide?
The Makerbots are getting better and better. I love the wide stance. I recently bought a RepRapPro as my introduction to the ever-growing world of 3d printing. ...Please keep up the splendid work guys.
The more I look at your 3D printer, the more I'm considering getting one. I have a project in mind. Miniature replica of Star Trek Voyager Bridge (all of Deck-1). Your product would help me achieve the detail items I wish to create. Command chair, bridge consoles, etc. I saw your spaceship model on a previous video that really hit home with me for this project. I'll be in touch one I get my funding together. Thanks for creating the "Replicator". Truly great!!!

Is there any way to melt the plastic back down and re-use it? That would be the ultimate feature!
